14 | babysitting - pt. 2

PLOT: Piper, Leo, Jason, Frank, Hazel, and Nico are training Percy and Annabeth's kids in their backyard.
                • Third POV •
It turned out that, Silena and PJ were really good at archery. They both hit the center of the target on their second try.

"Nice job!" Frank exclaimed, high-fiving the two kids.

Biance frowned up at her Uncle Nico, "When will I get a turn?" Bianca asked him. "You can practice with me right now if you want." Nico suggested.

Bianca jumped, "Yeah!"

Nico smiled while they walked towards the small sparring circle. Nico picked up a small wood sword and stood at the left side of the circle. Biance stood at the right side with a fighting face.

Nico noticed she wasn't holding the sword correctly and went to go help her, but Bianca flinched away from Nico. "No, I want to hold it like this." Bianca held up the hilt of her pink wooden sword in front of Nico's face.

Nico nodded, "Okay, show me what you've got first." Nico stepped back and Bianca held her straight face.

Bianca took a deep breath and she suddenly started flailing her sword around, calling out war cries.

"HIYA!" she roared, flapping her sword up and down in the air with an angry face, she almost fell down in the
process.

Nico immediately ran to her and stopped her from attacking the innocent air. "Bianca—Stop—Ow!" Nico yelped as Bianca accidentally hit him on the head with her wood sword.

Bianca gasped and covered her mouth with her hands, "I'm sorry, Uncle Nico." she whimpered.

Nico gave out a weak chuckle as he held the top of his head with his hand in pain, "It's okay Bianca, you're only just starting." Nico croaked.  Bianca slowly walked towards him and touched the top of his head with her small hands, "Will you be alright?" she whispered. Nico nodded and held out his hand, "How about we go back to everyone, huh?"

Bianca nodded slowly and took his hand, she was still a bit scared about what she did.

Nico still had his hand on his head when they arrived, Hazel came rushing to them. "What happened?" she asked.

"I accidentally hit Uncle Nico on the head..." Bianca said, her lip quivering.

Hazel knelt down to her level, "Bianca, it's okay it was only an accident." Hazel said softly to the four year old.

Bianca burst into tears and Nico's eyes widened. "No, no, no Bianca, I'm not hurt, okay? Uncle Nico is fine." he said in a rush. He took his hand off his head and winced slightly, but kept smiling.

Bianca sniffled, "Are you sure?" she said weakly, wiping her eyes with the back of her arm.

Nico nodded and opened his arms to hug Bianca. He knelt down to where Hazel was and gave Bianca a tight hug.

"Now no more crying okay?" Nico said as he let go of her.

Bianca sniffled one more time and nodded silently. But then she lifted her arms up, clearly wanting him to carry her.

Nico picked her up and Bianca rested her head on his shoulder. Hazel smiled.

"You're great with her." Hazel whispered. Nico patted Bianca's back softly so she would go to sleep.

Nico bit his lip and gave a small shrug in reply before they walked back to everyone.

Jason was fighting with Luke, and Piper was fighting with Charlie while Frank kept with Silena and PJ.

Luke blocked Jason with his sword but Jason was stronger, he held down onto his sword until Luke's sword dropped out of his hands.

Luke groaned, "Come on! You can't do that!"

Jason laughed, "Well your enemies can and you'd better be prepared for it."

Luke sighed and sat down on a chair, his forehead sweating immensely.

Charlie was doing good aswell. Blocking Piper when he needed too and using his strength wisely.

"Guys! We're home!" a female voice yelled from inside.

"Mom and Dad's home!" Luke exclaimed.

All the kids ran inside except Bianca, who was sleeping peacefully on Nico's shoulder,

Annabeth and Percy grinned from ear to ear as they saw their kids. "Hey, what'd you guys do today?" Percy asked PJ, ruffling his hair.

"Uncle Leo made us weapons." Silena said giddily.

Annabeth dropped all her bags on the floor, "What?!"

"No, no, no, Leo made fake weapons. Don't worry, only Luke had a real one." Piper reassured. Annabeth sighed in relief, "Thank the Gods." she murmured.

Percy looked at Nico and raised his eyebrows in his Ray Bans, "Sleeping?" he asked. Nico nodded.

Percy smiled softly, "How about you go and take her upstairs?" Nico nodded again and headed upstairs to her room.

After, everyone sat down on the couches and Percy and Annabeth thanked everyone for babysitting.

On one of the couches, PJ tugged onto his father's shirt, "When you sweat, do germs come out?" he asked.

Percy immedietly nodded, smiling, "Yup." he said. PJ made a face, "So are germs coming out right now?" PJ pointed to his forehead, beaded with sweat. Percy nodded, not really sure if there was sweat coming out right now.

"Well we're gonna go now." Piper announced, standing up after her boyfriend. Everyone else stood up and walked towards the door. Annabeth hugged everyone once more as they exited their house. "Thank you guys!" Annabeth said, hugging Piper.

"Did you guys have fun?" Pery asked, looking down at his kids. They all nodded vigorously and Percy grinned. "Well that means that me and your mom have to go out more." Percy laughed.

"Ew Dad!" Luke exclaimed. Percy's eyes widened, "No! I didn't mean it like that!"
