We Are Here

           They were all upset. They wanted to do something, but they couldn't. They were just worthless to Zachary's situation. They couldn't make him better or wake up from his coma. All they could do was wait and see what happens to him. They were all sad and upset about everything. Luke felt like he let down his best friend. He let down himself. He could have prevented all this from happening. He still regrets everything that has happened. He knows that if he would have never let Zachary know what's wrong Zachary would've never tried to stop Carlos and John and would've never got hurt. They drove to the hospital and went to his room like everyday, but today felt different. The doctor came into the room and said that Zachary hasn't been getting any better at all and all the his he took when he fought caused damage to his brain. The damage wasn't life taking, but could cause problems. At one point they were sitting down in Zachary's hospital room and the monitor started to beep really fast and they had to call the nurses and doctors to come in a steady his heart beat and get it back to normal. They still were all in a state of shock that this could had happened to there best friend. The next day they went to school and Carlos and John came up to Luke saying this happened for a reason and why would anyone want to stand up for a gay asshole like you. Luke was already angry about what they did to Zachary and for them to come over to him and intentional try to hurt his feelings he got even more mad. Luke never thought his life would ever become this hard to handle. Luke wanted to let go of everything and get away from all his troubles that he's going through at the moment and letting them fade away. He just wanted Zachary to be better. He wanted his life to be better. He wanted everything to be better. But how could he do that with two massive bullies always on his tail. Luke went to the hospital by himself after school and went to visit with Zachary. He prayed and prayed for Zachary to get better. He talked to him, told him what was going on if like he could hear him. He told Zachary that, We Are Here for you and want you to get better. We can't wait to talk to you again Zachary. We love you!
