JM's POV
Uwian na. I went out of the room first tapos nakasalubong ko si Julia.
"Hey, JM.." sabi nya sakin. Tumigil ako sa harap nya.
"What?"
"I just wanted to ask if.. uhmm.. di naba natin mababalik yung "tayo"?" tanong nya.
Shift. The thing that I fear to hear from her.
"I don't know..." sabi ko.
"So.. do you really love her so much...?" sabi nya, tears forming on the corner of her eyes.
"I think we should talk about this some other time." sabi ko then left her.
I immediately went to my car and messed my hair.
What was I thinking?! It was the main reason why me and Maica are pretending!
"I should talk to Maica about this..." sabi ko.
MAICA's POV
"Ano to...?" bulong ko sa sarili ko nang makita ko yung familiar pink paper sa edge ng locker ni JM. Hinila ko yun tapos nakita ko na yun yung letter sakin ng admirer ko.
"Oh my God.. Locker ni JM yan diba?! Why's your letter in his locker?!" sabi ni Elise with her shocked expression.
Napatahimik lang ako...
Sya kaya admirer ko?
Imposible.
Baka nilagay nya lang yung letter ko. Tama. Yun lang... pero bakit?
Tapos may biglang kumalabit sa balikat ko.
"Hi, Maics." sabi nya tapos ngumiti.
"Lem.. Uhh.. Bakit?" sabi ko.
"Can we talk? In private?" sabi nya, tapos pumayag si Elise na sumama ako kay Lemuel sa malapit sa canteen na wala masyadong tao.
"I just wanna talk about 'us'." sabi nya. Kinabahan ako bigla, kasi baka makipagbalikan na sya.
"What's with 'us'?" tanong ko.
"I wanna know if we could still be friends, since I know that you and JM are happy with each other.." sabi nya.
LEMUEL's POV
"Of course. Pwedeng pwede." sabi nya, tapos ngumiti.
"That's good then. I also wanna know if you're happy with him? " tanong ko sya.
"He takes care of me, Lem." sabi nya. She really seemed happy with him.. I can see it in her eyes..
"Great. Then, it'll be completely okay for me to trust him with you." sabi ko tapos niyakap ko sya. It felt like I don't want to let go.
Maya-maya, may tumawag sa phone nya.
"Uhhh... Lem, I think I should take this call. Malamang si JM to." sabi nya then I let go of the hug.
MAICA's POV
"Hello?" sagot ko.
"Maica?" sabi nya.
"Who's this?"
"It's Michael. I have to talk to you about something." sabi nya. Kinabahan ako bigla..
"Me too. We do have to talk." sabi ko tapos pumunta na sa kung san nya sinabi. I went there alone.
Pagdating ko, nakasandal sya sa kotse nya habang nakatingin sa cellphone nya.
