"What are you doing for spring break." wess asks as I put away the last of my clothes.
"I don't know." I shrug, plopping down onto my bed. "I don't really have anything planned. What are you doing?"
"I'm going to our beach house." He says, picking up biscuit.
"With who?" I ask, curious.
"Nim, Noah, Mark, and his girlfriend." He answers, laying down next to me. "Do you want to come?"
"I'd love, too." I chuckle, seeing him play with biscuit.
"We're leaving Saturday morning." He informs me.
"Ok." I nod and reach out to pet my baby.
"This guy is too cute." He smiles, referring to Biscuit.
"I know." I agree, petting my baby.
"So, you and Rider?" He asks, looking at me. "How'd that happen?"
"I really like him, Wess." I say, covering my face with one of my pillows.
"And really hate him." He counters.
"I know." I grumble.
"You promised to stay away from him." He reminds me of the conversation we had on my first day at our school.
"I know." I sigh.
"I just feel like he's the type of guy that will break your heart, even if on accident." He comments. "I don't trust him with you."
"Wess-"
"You deserve someone better." He adds, cutting me off.
"He makes me feel something I have never felt before." I retort, taking the pillow away from my face. "It's a good feeling."
"I just want you to be happy," He says, putting Biscuit back in his cage. "And I guess if Ian makes you happy, eventually, I'll warm up to him."
"Does that mean you approve?" I ask.
"No," he deadpans, sitting down at my desk. "That is going to take a long time, but I won't try and stop your relationship with him."
"Thank you." I smile in appreciation that he's being understanding.
"But the second he hurts you, I end him. Deal?" He adds.
"Deal." I nod, chuckling at his expression.
"So how was New York?" He ask, swiftly changing the topic.
"It was fun." I answer. "I, um, got to visit my biological brother. He actually wants me to stay with him after I graduate, for college. I applied to some colleges there, but I don't know if I got in and I wasn't really planning on going. So I'm not sure what to do. I mean I have spent over a year away from my brother and I don't really wanna miss another, but..."
"You don't want to leave Ian?" He asks, when I don't finish my sentence.
"Yeah, we just started dating and I don't want to end it so soon. What do I do?"
