Ian's POV

"Can you take Iris to school?" My sister asks before blowing her nose.

"Why?" I answer with a question.

"Because I'm sick and I'm not going to school you dipshit." she answers.

"I guess." I shrug, taking a bit out of my apple. My lips meet her forehead before I walk back up to my room and shout "Get some rest." over my shoulder. When I make it to my room, I finish getting dressed and grab all of my shit.

"You ready to go?" Diego asks, barging into my room.

"Yeah, did you put your bike in the shed?" He nods leaning on the door frame. "Head over to Iris' house for me and tell her she's riding with us." He walks off and I go back downstairs. After doing a few things and tying up a couple loose ends I walk outside. I find Diego on the hood of my car, no Iris in sight.

"Where is Iris?"

"She left with Santiago." he answers, jumping off the car.

"Get in the car." I say, through gritted teeth, chucking my stuff in the back. I take out my phone and start up the car. It rings a few times before the person on the other end picks up.

"Sup." he answers.

"Where is Iris?" I ask, angry prominent in my voice.

"Chill she's with me."

"Give her the phone, I need to speak with her." I command. After a few moments I hear her voice ring in my ear.

"Hello?"

"Why the fuck did you go with Santiago?" I shout.

Shit, that was a dick move, Ian.

"Because I wanted to." She answer.

"You were supposed to come with me and Diego." I counter.

"Well Diego was being a pervert so I decided to go with Tia instead." She retorts, the sound of a locker slamming in the background.

"Next time tell me that you aren't riding with me before you leave."

God you are such a dick, Ian.

"Why do you even care?" She asks, confused. "Your acting like you own me or something."

"Just tell me." I retort.

"No, you aren't in charge of me." She states and the line goes dead. "She fucking hung up on me."

"Well, you did sound like a dick." he comments, shrugging.

"Shut the fuck up and get your feet off my dashboard." I groan.

"Look, dude, I know you like her-"

"I don't like her." I correct.

"Sure you don't." He says, sarcasm dripping from his tone. "Anyways, the truth is you can't tell her what to do. You aren't her brother or her boyfriend and you do not own her, so she doesn't have to listen to you." I continue driving and think about his words.

"She said you were being a perve." I recall.

"I saw her breasts in just a bra; sue me."

"Look at her that way again and your dead." I say, parking my car next to Santiago's bike.

"And you said you don't like her." he smirks.

"I don't." I grunt, getting out and slamming the door. I grab my stuff from the backseat and rush into the building. Once I spot Kyle I see Santiago and Iris are with him and walk up to the slowly.

"Anyways, Ian was yelling at me because I decided to ride with Tia to school. And apparently I have no say in my own transportation. He was acting like I was his property or something and I am no ones property." Iris informs them.

"Feminism!" Shouts Santiago, pointing at Iris.

"More like Irisism." Kyle corrects, chuckling. Iris slaps his arm and giggle emerges from her lips. Once I catch up to them I wrap a hand around her wrist and pull her back.

"What the fuck?!?!" She shout, before crashing into my chest.

"We need to talk." I mutter. I pull her outside of the school and she struggles to get out of my grip.

"Next time-" I starts.

"There won't be a next time." She corrects. "I will ride with my brother or Tia again."

"No-"

"You. Don't. Own. Me." She says, poking my chest. I swear to god if this girl doesn't let me talk. "You don't tell me what to do." I grab her finger and bring her hand down to her side.

"I-"

"Now that we are done here, let go of my hand." She comments, glaring at me.

God, she is so sexy when she's mad. Wait, no, Ian you're mad.

"Stop fucking cutting me off!" I shout, letting go of her and pacing back and forth. "I swear you are the most stubborn, insufferable, unendurable person I have ever met."

"And you are the most repressive, tyrannical, unaccountable, dictatorial, haughty person I have ever met." She huffs, crossing her arms. "Now that we have identified characteristics using big boy word, bye." She starts to walk off, but I grab her wrist pulling her towards me. "What the fucking hell do you want, Ian?!?! I get it you hate me, just leave me the fuck alone and I'll do the same to you."

I pull her to my chest and and wrap my arms around her waist. "You didn't let me finish."

"Well I'm finished," She huffs, turning her head to the side. "so let me go."

"That's what I like about you." I say, hooking my finger under her chin and turning her head. "no girl has ever stood up to me the way you have, except for Mahogany." I stare at her and take in her expression of shock.

"You hate me, though." She says, confusedly.

"Honestly, I don't know how I feel about you yet." I state, scanning over her face. "One thing for sure though, I don't hate you."

"Ian do you know........" I turn my head to see a smirking Kyle and groan. "Am I interrupting something?"

Iris detaches my arms from her waist and turns to Kyle. "No." She walks back inside the building, as Kyle and I trail behind.

"What were you two doing?" Kyle asks.

"Nothing." I grunt. Ignoring all the questions he throws after that I just stare at the back of Iris' head. God, I wonder what she's thinking.
Once we make it to Arnaldo's room Iris mutters a quick "Morning." and heads to her seat.

"Good morning." he greets, staring at Kyle and I. "Ian, Kyle, how lovely to see you both on time." I nod and walk to my seat with Kyle trailing behind.

'Honestly, I don't know how I feel about you yet. One thing for sure though, I don't hate you.'

Dick move, again, Ian.

'I don't know how I feel about you.....'

Oh god you're such a dick.
