We continue to stare into each other's eyes until he speaks up.

"What you did in science class today, sweetheart, was very naughty." He whispers right by my ear. "That's my seat you sat in and only mine."

"If you want it," I whisper back, seductively, "Then you should get to class before me."

Someone clears their throat and I push him off me. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Wess, face contorted in anger.

"Later, um, what's your name?" I tap my chin. "Ian! Later, Ian." I hop in Wess' car and pull out my phone.

"What was that?" He growls, slamming the car door.

"Long story." I sigh, starting a game of Sudoku on my phone.

"We have time." He counters.

"Fine." I huff, turning my phone off. "This morning, in Science, I sat in 'his' seat and when he finally got to class, he wanted to sit there, but I wouldn't move.

"So when I was waiting for you, he pushed me up against the car and tried to, I don't know, brainwash me into not taking his seat." I answer, stretching. "And I'm not that stupid, so I simply whispered, seductively might I add, 'If you want it, then you should get to class before me'. Then you came."

"If he touches you again, tell me." He says, stopping the car. "Got it?"

"Whatever." I sigh, hopping out of the car and walking up to the door. I walk into the house and up to my room.

"Riss," He calls out, reaching to top of the steps. "I don't want you anywhere near him."

"So far, I'm not a big fan of him. So that won't be a problem." I yell back at him, opening my door. "Plus, Wess, I know how to take care of myself. I've been doing it for years." I walk into my room and sit down on the bed. After about ten minutes of random thoughts, I'm taken over by slumber.

"Morning." Leon says, walking into the kitchen.

"Morning." I reply, spinning around in my spinny chair. "Do I have to go to school today?"

"Yes," He chuckles, picking up the coffee I made him. "But nice try with the coffee." He ruffles my hair and I sigh. "Bye, Iris."

"Bye." I mutter.

"Ready to go?" Wess asks, walking into the kitchen and grabbing an apple. I nod and head to the door, before sliding on my Vans.

Once we reach the school, we head our separate ways. After swapping out my books, I walk into my first period class. As always, I'm first to get there.

I smirk as I head to the corner seat and slide into it.

"Good morning, Ms. Season. I see that you have beat Mr. Rider, again." Mr. Arnaldo chuckles.

"Yep." I reply, popping the 'P'. "And before you ask, no, I am not giving up the seat."

"Fine with me." He agrees, looking over papers on his desk.

"Have you taken the benchmark already?"

"Yes." I answer, checking my phone.

"Well, then you have nothing to do in my class today." I nod and plug in my headphones, continuing to listen to my music while the other kids in this class have to take a test. Best day ever.

"Maybe tonight I'll call ya, after my blood turns into alcohol." I mouth the words to that beautiful ginger's song. Taking in the lyrics as they continue to flow. "No, I just wanna hold ya. Give a little time to me or bur-" my daydream of a private Ed Sheeran concert is cut off when I feel a flick to my forehead.
