Gregory, Ashley, Mr. Lockhart and I all made our way back stage, going there by going onto the stage and walking behind the curtain. As we walked, Ashley looked at everything in amazement. I could unterstand why; this was probably his first time back stage on a real stage. One with big, velvet curtains and lights that are already set up. I, on the other hand, had been in a few of Elle's productions, (of A Memior as well as some others) so I had been here numerous times.

In the wings we saw Draco standing by himself, watching as actors ran this way and that. He was holding a clipboard, which usually was in Mr. Lucius's possesion because he was always the Stage Manager.

"Hi, guys." He smiled when he saw us. I squeezed Ashley hand: We were close to getting to see Elle.

"Where's our little star?" I gushed. Draco took a breath.

"She's in her dressing room. She wanted to speak to Dad for a minute."

"Oh..."

"But we can go now." He checked his watch, then motioned for us to follow him. We all walked behind him to her dressing room. I remembered it: it was the biggest one and only for herself. There was a little gold star on the door. We could hear her and Mr. Lucius talking behind it.

"I didn't finish it... again..." She sniffed.

"You never finish it, dear, but that's okay. You always get your point across, and that's all that matters."

"I just wish I could finish it... Just once..."

"You will someday." There was a pause. "You will. Here." We assumed he was handing her somehting. Draco knocked on the door and said,

"Elle? You have some visitors. Can they come in?"

"Yeah..." Elle sniffed again. Draco gave enought time for her to wipe whatever tears needed before opening the door. She was sitting infront of a bureau in a thick, green robe. Her hair was pulled up into a loose bun on the top of her head. A few stray tears were still on her cheeks. Her make up was still on, but her shoes were not. The flowers Profesor Flitwick had given her were already in a vase full of water. She was eating from a cup of what looked like Greek Yogaurt, and had an untouched sandwich sititng on a plate behind her, as well as a cup of coffee.  "Hey..." She smiled, but looked down into the cup. We all smiled back.

"You did great tonight." I started, looking at Ashley to say something further. He looked at me, then back at her.

"Oh, um, yeah... I was really, um... I mean..."

"He liked it." I stopped his rambling. Why did he always do that?

"Thanks." She put the empty cup behind her and took the sandwich. "Sorry I'm eating, but I'm starving. I haven't eaten since lunch today. I can't eat before a show. Stage fright, you know..." She bit into the sandwich. Mr. Lockhart looked at it with intrest.

"That doesn't happen to be turkey, is it?" He asked. Elle laughed.

"No, Gildy. I'm vegitarian, remember? I don't eat meat. It's spinich, tommatoes, water chestnuts, and vinigirette. But you may have a bite if you want." She offered. He agreed and took a bit of it. He made of face of disgust and spit out the bit into the rubish bin. Eleanor laughed.

"You don't like it, do you?"

"I don't think I like spinich..."  We all laughed at him. I laughed extra hard. I just wanted to touch his perfect angel face....

"I'll remember that." Elle took another bite.

"Good, becaues I won't." Mr. Lockhart laughed along with us.
