It was late in the evening, and Sarah Beth decided to go to sleep early. I flipped through the programmes on the telly and found none of them to be remotely interesting. So, I decided to join her and get some extra sleep in.
I walked in and saw Sarah Beth sleeping soundly on her side of the bed. She was beautiful and peaceful, with one of the cats sleeping next to her arm. I was careful not to disturb her when I got under the covers on my side. I yawned, looked at the ceiling, and thought about how great everything was going to be now that our boss was dead.
Actually, that sounds really messed up. Forget I put it that way.
Now that our financial touble was sorted, we could finally focus on more important things. The wedding was happening with no trouble whatsoever. Now, all I had to do was call the parish again and make sure that everything is still going as...
I just remembered. I'm going to have a wedding in a parish. A wedding in which half of the people there are going to be magical people. I then remembered that Sarah Beth was hoping for a little wedding. Well, it shouldn't be an issue.
I just turn over and say "Sarah Beth?"
"Yeah?"
"You know how we agreed that we were going to have a normal wedding?"
"Yeah-huh..."
"I'm Catholic."
"Okay."
...
"You kow what that means, right?"
"It means you're Catholic..."
"That means that the wedding is going to be a little bigger than you thought."
...
"How much bigger?"
"Well, you remember the church we called a few mmonths ago to schedule the wedding?"
"Westminister or something."
"Westminster Cathedral."
"Yeah."
"It's massive."
"What?"
"The church is pretty ginormous. "
"But I thought it was going to be a small church."
"Well, I mean... it's just that my family is all Catholic, and every generation of it has been held in a Catholic church."
"But you..."
"Look, Sarah Beth. You're going to love it. You'll see it at the wedding rehearsal."
