What Would Have Been

We stayed one night in Vegas and just chilled in the room the whole time.

Me and Frank we both sitting on the same bed, in front of the tv, watching british shows like On the busses and Fawlty Towers. frank was sipping a beer. Yes, Blake's beer.

I guess I fell asleep in Franks bed. Cause I woke up in the middle of the night with Frank's arm draped over me. A wave of panic flushed over me. Had anything happened?

I looked under the covers and sighed in relief as I saw I was fully clothed and so was frank.

I fell back asleep. Too lazy to go into my own bed. I had a dream.

I had a dream, that I woke up again. I was tracing my finger over his tattoos on his arm and then made my way across his chest. Why was his shirt off? Why was i in bee with him? Why was I like, feeling frank up? Why was I dreaming about this? In the dream Frank woke up, and kissed me. Why am I kissing him back again? Why am I enjoying it? And not wanting it it stop?

"I love you" he said

Whoa, Frank. Easy there.

"I love you too" I said

Wait? I said that?

I looked at my left hand, I had a different ring on my finger. Not my wedding ring to Lyn-Z. I slipped it off. On the inside it was engraved "Frank Anthony Iero Way"

Whoa. I'm married to Frank?

A little black boy ran into our room.

"Daddy, Cynthia wants you" he said

"Okay, I'm coming, thanks Jamal" Frank said

Frank got up and walked out of the room. I followed.

"Cyn?" Frank said to a little girl in a wheelchair.

Wait ... Me and Frank adopted these kids?

Makes sense.

And then I woke up to the my phone ringing. It was Sarah.

"Hello?" I Said with a yawn

"oh crap, did I wake you up?" she asked

"um, no I got up a few minutes ago" I lied.

"oh okay. Well, I called cause I missed you! When you coming home? Bandit keeps asking for you. And I think Beau misses you too" she said

"Awe, baby, I miss you too! Give Bandit a hug and a kiss for me, will you? And give Beau a carrot or something" I said

"wanna talk to bee? She's here" she said

"yes please!" I said

"Daddy?!" she said

"Hi Bee! I miss you!! How is your pony Helena?" I asked

"shes fine. When are you coming home? All sarah does is talk about you" she said

"bandit!" I heard sarah say in the background.

By this time Frank was up and grabbed the phone.

"Bee, your father won't shut up about Sarah either" he said

"Thanks frank" I said

"anytime bro" he said and then added "love you bee!" before heading into the bathroom

"anyways bee, I'll be home soon, I promise" I said

"promise? Your coming home right? This isn't gonna be like at grandmas when you didn't come back?" she asked

"I promise I'll come home bee" I said

And I meant it.

Bandit said I love you and then handed the phone back to Sarah.

"I really miss you Sarah" I said

"I miss you more Gerard, trust me" she said

"I doubt that." I said

"Sarah come play with me!" I heard Bandit yell.

"I guess I have to go .." Sarah said

"Okay, I love you. See you soon" I said

"I love you too Gerard" she said and hung up.

Frank emerged from the bathroom in only a towel, I guess he had a shower.

I felt myself blush.

Why am I blushing at Frank?

Heck, I've seen him naked and I haven't blushed.

"You okay Gee?" he asked

"what? Yeah, sorry, just tired" I said

"I was thinking in the shower" he said as he dropped the towel.

There goes the blushing again.

What was Frank going to do?

" I wanna get a new tattoo" he said as he pulled on some new boxers.

"a tattoo of what?" I asked, trying to get my mind of the mental image of Frank naked.

"well, three tattoos actually" he Said

"of..?" I said again

"Words. Cherry, Lily and Bandit."

That's cute. Bandit will love that.

My phone vibrated. Text from Sarah.

My sister Kat needs a place to stay for a bit. Is it okay if she stays in the guest room? Love, Sarah.

I replied.

Hey Baby, yeah she can stay. I can't wait to meet her. Is she a fan? Love, Gee.

She can't wait to meet you. Lol, and yeah kinda. You'll know what I mean when you meet her. Talk to you later. Love you.

"Sarah's sister Kat is going to be saying at the house for a bit" I said to Frank

"sweet." he said while brushing his teeth.

Frank's phone vibrated. Text from Jamia.

"Can you read it out loud to me Gee, I'm kinda busy" he said

"sure." I said

"Big news when you get home"

Frank stopped brushing his teeth.

"what do you think it is?" I asked

"I have a rough idea" he said slowly

"you think she's pregnant? Why aren't you happy?" I asked

"I am. I just don't wanna get my hopes up if she isn't" he said

"ohh. Sorry man" I said

"it's all good" he said as he shrugged.
