She sits there idly by the water,
Pondering over her fate.
All she sees day and night
Is sorrow, sorrow sad and melancholy.Whether it be a good day or a bad day
She only sees the bad
Weeping with her pain,
Pain over the whole world.I tried to comfort her,
As I sat on one of her boughs
One misty dreary day.
But the grieving lady
refused to be comforted.Maybe one day she will see
That not all in this world
Is a pain to the eye
And happy she will be.January 2015
