To my mother, of whom I could write a million poems.
If the moon left us stranded
And the sun,
This forsaken land abandoned. If the stars turned off their lamps,
And the sky began to cry,
And all my friends said bye.If the birds stopped singing,
And the phones stopped ringing.
If the butterflies all died,
And all the flowers took flight
I'd be alright
Because I'd know
I Still had you
And you're worth more
Through and through.October 2016
