Chapter Seven - Sports Day

I headed towards the gym slowly followed by Jason.

"Wait up , Indie!" he yelled catching up with me.

"Can you go with your friends, i don't want to be seen around with you." I yelled quickening my pace towards the gym foyer.

"Fine , i will see you around ninja" he winked ,walking away from me.

I headed towards the foyer to find Daniel with some of his friends.

"Indie" he waved me over.

I quickly spun around and walked away from Daniel.

Ugh I thought as i walked towards the gym changing rooms trying to look occupied.

"Indie, why are you ignoring me?" Daniel said grabbing my arm to stop me.

"Wh-what?" I asked feeling the warmth in my cheeks.

"Why are you ignoring me?, I want to get to know you." he said with a flick of his head , moving his wavy hair to the side.

"Um...I.." I started.

"INDIE GET AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND!" Madison screamed running towards me.

"I wasn't .....I'm not...." I studdered before getting interrupted again.

"Madison we broke up , i'm not your boyfriend anymore!" Daniel explained blocking Madison from getting to me.

I began walking backwards towards the girls locker bathroom hearing Daniel and Madison arguing.

"Indie, follow me." Suddenly Kirstin came out of the bathroom with all her gear for badminton.

"Kirstin!" I screamed hugging her quickly before following her.

"We need to talk." she said taking me towards a bench outside of the gym.

"Look , I'm so sorry Kirstin, I understand if you hate me now"  I apologised.

"You know Indie i can never imagine my life without you as a friend, i forgive you but that isn't what i want to talk to you about." she explained trying to remain calm.

"What happen?" I asked .

"I kissed Luke." she blurted out.

"OMG!" I screamed jumping out of the seat.

"But I think he's gay." she said quickly.

"Oh no..." I said surprised.

"There was no spark...no spark at all." 

We both laughed at what she had said.

"So how are you and Jason, you looked pretty cosy when i found you two." she chuckled.

Suddenly i felt weird.

"He stayed at my house." I blurted covering my mouth after realising how i sounded.

"Oh gosh Indie, don't tell me you..." 

"NO , Of course not!, why would you think that!" I interupted.

"Well you know....Oh and i heard about Daniel...I think he likes you!!" she said forming a massive grin on her face.

We kept talking about boys then got called in to check in for the sports day.

"Kirstin it's your serve!" yelled the coach.

I watched as Kirstin hit the shuttle to the other team member.

"I've got it!" I yelled running to hit it.

After winning two games of badminton we headed off to watch soccer.

"Omg, Indie its Daniel." She pointed towards Daniel who was running with the soccerball.

I watched as he ran swiftly pass the opposing team.

"SCORE!" Kirstin yelled.

 Which caught his attention. He glanced up for a second and stared at me.Heat rushed to my face and i quickly looked away. The next minute someone kicked the ball off him stopping him from scoring.

"Dammit Daniel, Get your head in the game!!!" yelled the coach pacing back and forth.

"Dam, he almost got it in!" Kirstin cursed silently.

We continued watching through half time till the full time whistle blew.

"FULL TIME! , The score is 6-14 , the winner is Springs high!" The crowd cheered.

"Woohoo!" Kirstin screamed with joy.

"Yay!" I yelled with her.

After the game ended Kirstin and i decided to go into the changing rooms to get changed.

"I'm going to take a quick shower , i will txt you afterwards" I said grabbing a change of clothes.

The bad thing about having a shower was that you had to cut through a corner of the guys changing room. 

I walked quickly trying not to look at the guys changing rooms.

"Indie!" Daniel yelled catching my attention.

I looked over to see him half naked  with a towel wrapped around his waist and his abs visibly showing a six pack.

"Oh my gosh!" I whispered staring at his perfect figure.

All of a sudden someone wolf whistled at me which snapped me out of my thoughts i looked to find Jason , who winked at me. 

Ew I thought as i looked around to see sweaty guys getting changed.

"I heard you won your game, we did too!" he cheered walking closer to me.

 I could smell some sort of body lotion coming off his body as he stood in front of me.

"Thats good." was all i said , still shocked at why he was standing in front of me.

"Yep , very good. Speaking of good have you done anything to your hair?" he asked moving a piece of my hair away from my face.

I blushed , looking down at the ground not knowing what to do.

"Well...um I did straighten it this morning , but no one really cares about that . i also started using a new shampoo and conditioner which...." Shit I knew i was blabbering on about stupid things.

"Aw Indie you're so cute when you talk!" he said taking a step closer to me.

"Get a room!" I heard someone yell from behind him.

I stepped back staring into his eyes.

"Daniel, are we going or what?" yelled Jason.

I quickly walked away from Daniel while he was talking to Jason.

After my shower i felt refreshed, as i stepped out of the shower i checked to find the boys changing room empty.

I headed home and texted Kirstin.

"You are never gonna guess what happen on the way to the showers...."

Hello Readers, i am very sorry about the last chapter, which i'm not very happy about but like @DuckieLover said "A Short Chapter is better than no chapter" . 

I hope you enjoyed this chapter , its turned out better than i thought.
