Chapter 36

"Crying out in pain but no one knows how to find you..you're lost in darkness.."

Kat's P.O.V.

"Monte get up.." I tried lifting him up. Craig punched him scare in the nose and he was bleeding everywhere. Michael helped me lift him up and he took him to the bathroom. I went over to Allie who was almost in tears because of what TJ had done. She was being comforted by Brittney and Abbie so I decided to chew Craig out.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! It was a fucking joke Craig!" I grabbed his face like a child and looked him in the eye. Not soon after I had to pull away from the horrid smell of his beer breath.

"He's a piece of shit and I've had it with him!" Craig stood up taller to seem more intimidating but I wouldn't back down.

"And you couldn't be more civilized about it?!" Everyone in the bar was staring at us now.

"You guys need to leave." The bouncer looking dude was trying to escort us out.

Craig tried yelling at the guy but Robert grabbed him and practically picked him up. Robert was strong enough and tall enough to do it. We all walked out of the bar except for Monte and Michael who were in the bathroom still. We couldn't really get them though, we were kicked out plus I didn't think the guys wanted to talk to them.

They have been having issues with Monte since day one. Craig has told me he feels he has no musical freedom..that breaks my heart cause they should be happy with making music but the process is so hard for them to be happy.

I was holding up Craig, Allie was holding up TJ whilst Brittney, Abbie, and Robert walked behind us making sure we didn't fall.

As soon as we got on the bus Craig went straight to our bunk and passed out. TJ did the same except in his bunk.

Allie, Brittney, Abbie, Robert, and I went to the back lounge and just sat for a little bit.

"What are you gonna do?" Brittney murmured. Robert sighed, "I don't know anymore..we have to release this album and we just lost Max..I don't know.." He got up and slammed the back lounge door.

I felt warmth fall down my cheeks. I looked down and put my head in my hands. I hate seeing everyone like this..I hate feeling like Monte and Michael are gonna leave. Just after Michael got back too. Literally just got back today.

"Kat things will be al-" Abbie said before I interrupted her.

"I know things will be alright I just..I don't know.." I sighed and got up to go to bed with a drunken Craig. I heard the bus door slam. I looked over to see Michael holding up Monte whose face was now decorated with dry blood.

"You know you could've cleaned him up a bit." I walked over to help Monte to sit down.

"I tried but I failed I guess" he laughed. I put Monte on the couch in the front lounge and ran to the bathroom to get some wipes. I went over to Monte and cleaned up his blood-smeared face. "You okay?" I said as his eyes fluttered open. "Yeah but I ache like a bitch." We both laughed.

I helped him to his bunk and he passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow. I walked out to the front lounge to Michael. "The guys are mad at me and Monte I know. But honestly I feel like I'm stuck in the middle of this bullshit. I just came back and Craig decked my brother in the face." Michael looked at me with deep hurt and emotion in his eyes. I couldn't help but hug him. "This isn't your fault Michael...you didn't do anything but defend your brother..listen I love Monte but he is causing so much grief for the rest of the guys.."

"Monte is trying to be professional and that's all. He isn't purposely trying to hurt the guys. Escape the fate is his life." Michael stood up and looked down on me.

"I know I'm just saying what he's doing is such a burden..I love Monte but-"

"He is the reason why this band has gotten so big. He has been there since day one and hasn't given up on this. He didn't then and he won't now." He walked off into the bunk area and closed the door.

This is going to be hell.
