A/N deals with sensitive issues like suicide. Don't read if you're triggered etc. maybe. I'm being on the safe side here just in case.

"Good morning, babe," Dean rolled over in bed and ran his fingers through Cas' messy hair.

Cas grumbled in reply, pulling the sheets over his bare shoulder to face away from Dean. He shuffled back over to Dean's side of the bed and onto his pillow, sharing it with his husband.

"I knew you found me irresistible," Dean smugly said before he kissed along his neck; wet, hot lips trailing the soft, tanned skin before lightly nibbling. Cas moaned as his sweet spot was found, his breath hitching with each stroke of Dean's hand on his waist, each lick or press of Dean's tongue behind his ear or bite at his ear lobe.

"Dean, stop it, we've got to...get Claire...to school..." Cas begged, trying to face down on the mattress to escape Dean's insinuations.

It didn't help. Dean just straddled his ass and pushed down onto him, his hands slipping up Cas' arms before hooking their fingers together and keeping them so.

The only thing wrong with the moment was how cold Cas felt. He felt empty slightly, and like something was...off. And then of course their daughter chose that moment to knock excitedly at their door.

Cas hurriedly pushed Dean off of him and sat up, hair twisted all around and pointing up.

"Daddy!" she squealed as she ran and jumped up on the bed, throwing her arms around Cas' neck.

Cas pressed a kiss on her cheek, pushing back her blonde hair out of her face. "Shall we get some breakfast and get you ready for school?"

"I don't want to go today," she whined.

"Why's that?"

"I want Papa to take me."

Cas let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head and looking away almost in shame. "You know he can't. I can, though. Just like every other day."

"Why can't he take me just this once! I want to show him off to my friends and make the other parents jealous of you, and the other kids jealous of me because I have such a amazing dads!"

Cas' heart swelled. God, he loved this child. He'd do anything for her. His eyes began to water, then he felt the strong hand of his husband rest on his shoulder, rubbing it soothingly, massaging almost.

"Don't worry. I'll come with you today. Work can wait, I'm sure Bobby won't care," Dean gently said into Cas' ear.

Cas grinned and leaned back into Dean, a silent way of thanking him. A language only between them, that they could understand.

"I'm hungry, daddy," their daughter began fiddling with the collar of his bed shirt.

"Let's go and get something then, shall we?" Cas asked as excitedly and unpatronisingly as possible.

"Yay!" Claire beamed before bouncing off the bed and rushing down the hallway, into the kitchen.

Cas let out a heavy sigh and felt for Dean's hand, lacing their fingers together loosely and bringing their joined hands up, before he pressed his lips on the back of Dean's hand. "I love you," he whispered against it.
