“Woah, I got it, babe.”
Louis came around the taxi and got my luggage out for me. I fixed my hair and turned to the front door. Liam came out. Back at home.
“Jora!” He smiled.
I gently wrapped my arms around his torso. He held me close. A kiss was planted on the top of my head.
“Hey man.” Liam said, putting his hand out to Louis.
I stepped back and they shook hands. Louis brought my luggage in the door and a young girl stood in the living room. Sydney. She was pretty. I walked up to her.
“Hi.” She said, softly.
“Hey. How are you?” I asked.
“Good. *silence* Thank you so much for getting me out. You have no idea how relieved I am. I thought I was going to die there. I’m glad there’s another girl around.”
My heart got soft and I hugged her. Tears almost formed but I stood my ground. No words. Silence. Her grip tightened.
“Liam told me you ignored John and went in full. Just…thank you.” She whispered.
“You’re more than welcome.”
I let go and looked at her. Her face was red. As if she could cry. She sat down.
“So how’s it been here?” I asked.
Louis had his hands in his pockets while walking over to us. Liam came in, sipping on some tea. Louis played with my hair.
“Great. Liam’s very sweet. He’s uhm, asked me to stay a little while longer.” She blushed.
Oh. I thought but let a huge smile plant on my face.
“Awh! Too cute.” I smiled.
I was never soft or girly but to make her feel welcome, I had to be. Liam smiled. If she made him happy, then I was. I got comfy on the couch and tilted my head up to Louis.
“Just to clarify, how long are we staying?” I asked.
“Just for a day.”
I nodded and looked at the two in front of me. They were a bit of an odd couple…
“Can I ask a huge favor?” Sydney said.
I nodded.
“Can I fly back to Paris with you two to get my clothes and stuff? I’m barely able to live without my things.” She giggled.
My eyes shot to Louis. He did the same. I didn’t see a problem with it. Louis shrugged.
“Yeah, sure. We don’t mind. We can leave tomorrow tonight.”

“Here are the sheets for the pull-out bed. I never did sleep on this before so…” I said, walking out from the bedroom.
“As long as I’m with you, I can mange.” Louis said.
I smiled to him and started to make the bed. Louis stopped me.
“Go on and rest your arms. I got it.” He said.
Face to face, I kissed him. He kissed my lips, then my cheek. I went into the kitchen and made some late night cereal. Resting my arms was a no-no when it came to eating. After I ate, I crawled in bed with Louis.
“The bed isn’t that bad.” He smiled.
“Goodnight!” Liam yelled from the bedroom.
I thought it was strange that Sydney was sleeping where I used to. Not that Liam and I dated. Just…you know. Daydreaming with the tv on, Louis snuggled his lips on my neck. He left soft, love bites.
“Hey now. Save it for when we get home.” I smiled.
Louis laughed.
“Oh, alright. I’ll see you in the morning.”
He then kissed my cheek. As Liam turned the light off, I decided to go to bed. I snuggled next to Louis and fell asleep with my head on his chest. Best place in the world. His arms.
