I stepped into my wedding dress and walked out for Liam’s mum to fix it up.
“You look absolutely stunning.” She said, softly.
Smiling, I fixed the shoulder part. It fit me well. Another day of very few, I felt beautiful.
Just the other day, we both found out I was pregnant again. Ecstatic. No baby bump yet. It’s only been 2 months.
I was changing in a small room in a church. The place was more out near my future mother-in-laws house. The rolling hills of England. It was a beautiful place.
As mum zipped up the dress, a knock came at the door. She ran over and opened it. Liam was ordered to remain at the alter. Niall and Harry entered.
Niall rubbed the back of his neck.
“Wow…I’m-I’m at a loss for words.” He sighed with a shy smile.
Harry looked the dress over, possibly me but probably not, and smiled. He nodded in agreement. Sydney barged in.
“Come on you two! They’re about to start!” She said.
I hugged Niall and Harry. Mum fixed the last bit of my hair and the music played. Butterflies ran in my veins. I couldn’t stop smiling. I got my heels on and stood behind the sanctuary doors. I was handed flowers. Doors opened wide.
Liam’s mouth dropped a little. He looked absolutely handsome. I walked, eyes on him. His hands in front, holding each other. Suit and tie.
Louis was standing behind Harry, in front of Niall. His eyes wouldn’t leave me. The few people there, stood. Liam’s family and some agents. John made it.
As I reached the alter, Liam grabbed my hands.
“I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the wedding of Jora Thompson and Liam Payne.” The pastor said.
The rest of the wedding was a blur because of the long scriptures. It wasn’t boring, just long. Liam and I put each of our rings on. The life I was about to share with Liam I knew would be the best.
I looked to Harry with my eyes.
“Beautiful.” He mouthed.
A bigger smile crept on my face.
“I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Payne. You may now kiss your bride.”
Liam gently leaned in and gave a short kiss. Sparks. My heart fluttered. Claps were echoing and cheering. A reception is tradition but instead, the group of us got in a limo and headed towards London for dinner. I had changed into an evening dress, still fancy. That day was perfect.
“I wanted to tell you something, babe.” Liam said, twirling my hair.
I got myself closer to Liam’s chest under the sheets. Bare. My eyes looked to his.
“We’re going to last. If fighting comes, we’ll work it out. Divorce should never be the answer. And this baby we’re going to raise will have the best parents….I won’t let you neither the baby go. You mean everything to me.”
His voice was hushed. He was serious in his tone. I knew I found the right man. The right life.
“I love you.” He whispered.
“And I love you.”
My heart became one.
