"Wake up."
I woke up with a start. Logan's smirk was the first thing I see.
"Earth to you, we are already here."
He said as he signaled a man who seems to be a doorman to come. He comes towards us and collects our luggages. I rubbed the sleepiness off my eyes as I stepped out off the taxi.
I couldn't believe I didn't sleep when we were still on the plane but got all sleepy right before it was about to land. And I couldn't believe Logan was pinching my cheek to keep me from dozing off, and I didn't mean a normal human-strength pinch, I'm talking about a full-hulk strength stretch. It was like he wanted to rip my cheeks off my face or something.
I grabbed my handbag along and turned to give the place a good look. A gigantic modern-styled apartment I used to see on TV stood right in front of me. I didn't even go in yet and I knew right away that a commoner like me would never, ever have a chance to even step on the carpet.
I eyed the sliding door, it opened and closed automatically like the one I saw in the malls back in Culver City. Call me mad, I don't mind, but I swear I heard the door mouthed Back off, punk, you don't even worth a house elf here.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go, we don't have all night."
I gave him a confuse look.
"I thought I'm going to stay in a place the program provided." I said to him.
"Oh god, are you drunk? I'm the host of the audition you won, that makes you and I partners." He responded with an annoyed look, "You work with me, stay by my side, and sleep at my place for the whole six weeks. Understand?"
I looked at him, my eyes widened, then I looked at the apartment, and then at him again.
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph."

Logan inserted the key and headed in first. I quickly followed, dragging my luggage along with me. The place was pitch back. Logan clapped twice and the lights switched on, revealing the biggest kitchen I've ever seen. My lips parted only slightly because I wanted to keep my excitement under control.
There was an island in the middle of the kitchen, I felt like I'm in a book or something. Every main character's house kitchen always has an island. They often have a dinning table as well. I glanced around.
There was none.
I looked at Logan, who was too busy taking his shoes off to notice.
Near the kitchen is a place looks like a living room. I looked a black sofa, a glass table with nothing but a long remote, and a HDTV. Maybe his family preferred eating in front of a TV than on a table? I was about to ask him when he began to talk
"If you are thinking that is our lounge, it's not. This place is only used for meeting and when people come for a visit. The lounge is upstairs."
"There's upstairs?"
"Yeah, three levels."
I almost choke on my own saliva. Did he just say three levels?! Three levels apartment!!?? Something like that exists?! He doesn't look like he's telling a joke though.
My excitement took over my curiosity entirely. Logan chuckled at my widened eyes before walking away from the kitchen and the meeting area. I quickly followed closely to him.
"There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. My mum and I are the only ones that live here so the third bedroom belongs to you without an exception. Mum has another apartment near the workplace, she stays there more so I pretty much have the whole place to myself."
