*snap*

I jumped in surprise as if I was woken up from a dreamless sleep. I didn't sleep, though, don't worry.

"Earth to Leonardo," Logan said sarcastically, "how long are you planning to space off?"

I turned to look at Logan like he was an alien, was he there before? Since when? Why does he look so concerned? No, he can't be concerning about me, right? He's not that nice.

"Good to know that you are doing better by grinning like an idiot," I could feel both corners of my lips stop stretching up (I was grinning?) after hearing Logan's remark, "now let's finish these damn cakes before noon, or else I'm doing them all by myself." Nope, I'm not letting him blowing the kitchen up.

"How does these made you think we are making cake?!?" I asked, confused, "we are making brownie!!!"

That's right, we aren't baking cupcakes like we've planned before anymore. Avery lost a list I wrote for her so she bought all these random stuff. There are only a few ingredients that can use to bake cupcakes and I'm not going to bother myself to walk all the way to the mall in this heat.

Everyone is downstairs now, doing their own things. Ms. Lively kicked them all down because they were too loud and she couldn't do yoga. The whole gang is gathering in the living room so there are just Logan and me in the kitchen. Addison was planning to help me, but she wasn't calm enough to talk to since the bandana incident. Avery was too busy cheering her up, which left Andrea the jobless one but she would be the last person that I would ask for help.

"Now," I said finally, "I've put everything together in this bowl, can you fold them for me?"

Logan nodded before receiving a bowl of think, brown substance and a wooden spoon from me. Just as I expected, everything I've said went into his ear and through the other.

"Are you serious!?" I yelled at him, "I said fold, not mix!!!"

"What is the difference, whatsoever!? It doesn't change the fact that those dumb costumers are going to get diabetes after eating these."

I opened my mouth in disbelief and shut them because I found no word to say. How rude can this moron get? Infinity??? But I was speechless because Logan was true, in a way. Those who brought these would get high blood pressure after eating all the white chocolate chips inside the sugary brownie.

"I don't think people eat them three times a day, don't worry," I said calmly, "and can you please fold them more slowly? It's going everywhere." I could feel wet drops of brownie on my face, and there are no mirrors in the kitchen. Just my luck, huh?

"Chill," Logan said, "I was trying to cheer you up. You were spacing out, but your eyes were ready to kill."

I snorted, "No, I wasn't. You don't know me."

"You can fool anyone you want, but your lies won't effect on me."

My face turned expressionless once Logan's face turned serious all of the sudden. I bit my bottom lips as the event I encountered with Andrea earlier popped up in my head again.

"What are you trying to do, Leo?"

Andrea's voice stopped me from taking another step. I looked at the floor, didn't want to turn and face her. I went silent. What should I say? No. What do I suppose to say? I don't even know, and I don't know if I will ever know.

"Are you going to tell the others?" I could imagine Andrea grinning, "I doubt that they would believe you, they only met you for two days."

Andrea seemed to grin wider as she saw both my hands forming fists, "And you expect Gunner to believe you? You know that he loves me too much. If he's hurt, you know what would happen."
