"You know what?" I said to break the silence, "I think it's time for lunch."

Logan glanced at me with a weird expression on his face. He must be wondering why I'm trying so hard to change topics surfing depressing situations. Can't blame me though, I don't know how to comfort people. The only thing I could do for them was to make them forget whatever that happened to them. Even if it was for only temporarily, it still kind of help.

It's not right to call the meal lunch anyway since it was almost five in the afternoon. Logan went to sleep after the medication knocked him out and I didn't want to wake him up since he looked so tired. I spent most of those five hours doing assessments that Meg sent over by mail and wonder around aimlessly on tumblr. Productive, I know.

But when Logan woke up his depression auras started to spread around the place again. I doubt that his action was bothering him at all but it did indeed bother me. And as his flat mate, I'm not going to let one's emotion to ruin the whole place.

"Come on," I said as I tried to pull him up by the arm, "I haven't got a license yet. You have to drive me."

Logan made a long face and acted like I was nothing. He tried to pull his arm back but failed miserably. Seeing that plan A doesn't seem to work, I quickly switched to plan B. I sank down next to Logan on the sofa.

"Since you are not acting annoying today," I began, "I'll make anything you want."

"..."

"What do you want? Spaghetti? Dumplings? Sushi?"

I'm not lying, I swear. I literally saw Logan's eyes brightened up when he heard the word 'sushi'. He turned to look at me with this childish expression on his face. The one that made me wonder if he is really twenty two.

"There are different types. I don't know which one you wanted. You have to come and choose them with me."

With a flash, Logan was waiting for me at the front door with his car key in his hand. I caught up with him and handed him a black jacket I brought along. He mumbled me a 'thanks' before he locked the door.

It was still quiet during the ride but there was less tension than before.

Logan's white BMW lead both of us to the supermarket, the same one I came by myself. I stepped out of the car first, still shaken and overwhelm from sitting in such an expensive car. BMW M6 Coupe, seriously? I couldn't even dare myself to think of how many books my mum has to write to get one of them. Wait, we probably have the money to buy one, but there is no way in hell that she would spend her money on a car.

Logan came out a few moment later with a pair of fake glasses. His eyes still had some depression inside them. He tried to hide it behind his glasses but I could still notice it anyway. I said nothing but took him by the hand and lead him to the entrance. Logan followed me quietly.

I grabbed a green basket as soon as I saw one. We don't need much ingredient since I've bought some of them the first time I came.

Logan looked around with interest. I guess he haven't been here because of work. Well, Lisa was the one who always brought freeze food and two minutes noodles after all. He doesn't need to come here.

As soon as I got a bag of sushi rice I dragged Logan to the sea food section. I couldn't help but notice that most of the women in the supermarket were laying their eyes on him. Thank the gods he is wearing glasses to disguise himself, or else he would be surrounded by these ladies, and I would be the one they stepped on.
