"Xiùlán that was mothers!" Fai roared.
"They need it more than I do." She retorted.
She continued on quickly still slightly flustered by that family. Xiùlán barely heard the cry of her brother before a blade sliced her cheek. The momentum knocked her over.
Fai ran to his sister's side. She was unconscious but still breathing.
"We have to get her back to the healers at the palace!" Fai cried.
"No time!" May added running to join the siblings. Before she could reach them the road separated and parted them. A mad laughter rose up from the chasm.
The homunculus in her true form appeared.
"Finally you were dumb enough to split up. Now I can single you out." She grinned. "I'll start with you!"
She lunged out at Fai with a dagger. Mustang made a bridge across the chasm and the others moved to fight.
"I can't fight in this dress! I hope lady Xiùlán will forgive me." Lan fan announced before slitting the dress up the sides with her knife.
"Now this isn't fair." The homunculus pouted as she clutched Fai's neck.
"Give up homunculus you're cornered!" Mustang ordered.
She answered with more laughter. The rain clung to her long straight platinum hair making her look crazier than usual.
"You think I'm afraid of death. How can anyone take risks if they fear death. I am the complete sin none of the measly fragments could stop me."
While the group did have an advantage in numbers they also had a man down and she was the only one who could see through the homunculus' guises.
"Release the prince." Ling ordered.
"Well maybe if you asked nicely." She grinned manically as she threw Fai into Mustang knocking them over than dodging knife blows from Ling and Lan Fan.
May came at her from behind. Brina heard her coming and caught her kunia before throwing them back. May dodged one but the other imbedded in her leg.
"May!" Ling exclaimed.
"I'm fine!" She called back tying a tourniquet over her injury before healing it with alchehistery.
"Haven't you guys realized that she's not using her illusions." Mustang called.
The group exchanged surprised glances. He was right! They all set their eyes on her determined to finish this here.
Brina seemed unscathed but weary. She was also determined to end it here. Ling rushed Brina and engaged her in a sword fight. She was a master of her art and also had two swords to Ling's one.
The homunculus was too much for anyone of them to handle alone. Brina cried out and faltered as she just narrowly dodged a column of rock.
She locked eyes with the flame alchemist. Even though he couldn't use his flame alchemy in the rain he was still a skilled alchemist with the advantage of not having to use a circle. Also the rain wouldn't last forever. Why did they have to bring him along? This complicated things she needed an advantage.

Winry stood nervously by the door waiting for everyone to return. Riza saw her and walked up to the girl.
"What are you looking for?" She asked.
"Don't you feel it? Something terrible is happening." Winry shuttered with tears in her eyes.
