ROSE'S POV-

I awoke only to find I was lying next to Scorpius. The day's events washed over me and I shuddered. Not even wanting to think about it I checked if Scorpius was still asleep. Sure enough, he was. I had no idea what time it was so but I knew we needed to get up. After a few minutes of me lightly shaking him his eyes popped open.

He raised himself onto his elbow to talk. "What time is it?" He asked groggily.  "No idea. If I had to guess I'd say around dinner. We should go eat. We never ate lunch and I'm starving." I said in mock desperation. We walked out of the room of requirement hand and hand. We chatted and laughed until we got to the great hall. Students and teachers were filing in for dinner. "Looks like you were right." Stated Scorpius with a laugh. "When am I not?" I asked sarcastically.

I told Scorpius goodbye and walked over to my table. As soon as I sat down I was bombarded with questions by my cousins. "How did dad take it?" Hugo asked worriedly. "I'm sure it went great. Right, Rosie?" Asked Roxy. "If it had went well wouldn't we of see her earlier?" Asked Alice. Arguments about where I was broke out and I groaned. "Will all of you just shut up so I can't tell you what happened?" I asked.

Everyone nodded in agreement. I explained what happened. "...... And so I told him that I hated him and stormed out." I finished. Everyone stared at me with shocked expressions written across their faces. "Well that settles it. Dad is going to be receiving a very angry letter from me." Hugo stated.  "Yeah. same here." Said Lily. Everyone else echoed in agreement. "No please don't." I begged. "But he deserves it. Scorpius is a good person. I think any of us can admit that we were wrong about him. He's been nothing but kind to all of us. Dad needs to know that he's wrong." Hugo argued.

"Hugo that's very sweet and I appreciate it. But no matter how mad I am at dad, he doesn't deserve it." I said. "But he does deserve it Rose!  I don't care what you say. I am going to send him that letter. I'm sick and tired of him acting like this!" He screeched. And with that he sprinted out of the hall.

I got up and ran after him without a seconds hesitation. Hugo was always the calm one so I knew something else was wrong. Plus, he basically worshipped the ground that dad walks on. So for him to be this angry with him was practically rare to nothing.

I was close behind Hugo, for he wasn't a very fast runner. "Hugo, stop. We need to talk about this!" I shouted as I continued running after him. He turned around to yell back but stopped. There were tears running down his face and his bottom lip was quivering. I guess the gene is hereditary. I'd never seen Hugo cry before, and to be honest, it scared me. "Hugo, talk to me. What's wrong. You know you can tell me." I said calmly.

"I-I-it's just that, lately, as in the last year, dad doesn't seem to have time for us. He's always working or doing something to were he can't talk to us. He used to come to all of my quidditch matches and write to me every other week. It's the middle of November and he hasn't written me once or came to any of the  matches we've had. He doesn't have time for us anymore and I'm sick of it. I've asked him to come meet me at The Three Broomsticks for a Butterbeer every weekend since school started and he's always had excuses. And then out of the blue you ask him and he has all of the time in the world. I'm sick of it Rose. He was my hero, and look where we are now. This has to end." He said, a single tear rolled down his cheek.

"I agree. I think that you should write to dad and tell him everything. If it will help, I could write and angry letter to him and tell them if he doesn't meet you at the next Hogsmead trip I'll hex him into oblivion." I said with a laugh. "No it's ok, but I do think I'll write him. Thanks for listening to me Rose. It feels like a giant weight has been lifted off of my chest! But if you don't mind, I'd like to head back to dinner. I'm extremely hungry. Hugo said. "So am I.  Let's go." I said enthusiastically. "Wow. No matter we hate to admit it at the moment, we really are Ronald Weasley's children." He said with a laugh. With that, we walked back into the Great Hall.
