SCORPIUS'S POV-

I told Rose goodnight and went up to the room that I was sharing with Albus and Hugo. They were both asleep so I crawled into the cot in between them. I fell asleep almost instantly.
My mind drifted off into a deep, trance-like, sleep. That's when it happened. In the last few months, Rose's nightmares have stopped, but mine haven't. They've gotten worse.

Ever since my meet up with Lucius they've progressed into full blown night terrors. Albus usually has to wake me from them. That's why I'm in a room with just him and Hugo. Since I sleep in the heads common room, Albus sneaks in every morning to wake me up so Rose won't find out. I usually end up falling asleep again, but the second time usually doesn't have the dreams. I haven't told her about any of it because if I did she would do nothing but worry.

The nightmares usually consist of the Azkaban escapees torturing me and telling me to join them. They usually say that if I don't, the ones I love will die. I've talked to Harry about them because he suffered from dreams much like my own when he was a teenager. He says that it doesn't actually mean anything, just my mind racing.

Tonight's dream was different though. I was in a dark room, chained to the wall. Lucius came out of nowhere and shot a crucio curse at me. He's done this in other dreams, but this time, I actually felt the pain. It was like I was being ripped apart, limb by limb.

I tried to scream but nothing came out. He shot  another curse at me. I could feel myself slipping. I tried to hang on thinking only of Rose. I managed to scream out her name. It kept me awake and going. "Don't scream her name. The more you try to fight me the more I'll hurt you. There is no escape, Scorpius. I will make you help me." He hissed. Then he walked out of the room and came in, pulling Rose by her hair. She had cuts and bruises up and down her legs and arms. "Scorpius, help me." She whimpered. "Rose, hold on. It's going to be ok." I said, trying to remain calm. Right as the words left my lips, Lucius pointed his wand at her and killed her. Her body hit the ground with a thud. "ROSE!" I screamed in agony. My whole world came crashing down. "Good. Now that she's out of the way, you can help me." Sneered Lucius.

That's when I felt myself being shaken awake. My eyes fluttered open to see a very scared looking Rose standing over me. "Scorpius, wake up." She said repeatedly. "Rose, I'm fine calm down." I said groggily.

"Oh thank god you're awake!" She said as she tried to wipe away the tears attempting to leak from her eyes. I glanced over to see Albus leaning against the wall. "Sorry mate. I tried to wake you up but you started screaming her name and she must have heard." He said apologetically. "What are you talking about? Why didn't you come get me. Has this happened before?" She asked. "Rose, calm down!" I tried. "Scorpius, answer me. Has this, or has this not happened before?" She demanded.

"Well, yes. Your nightmares might have stopped, but mine haven't. They've just gotten worse." I answered truthfully. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked. I expected her to be mad, but she sounded upset. "Scorpius, we're supposed to be here for each other! You need to tell me these things!" She said sadly.

"Thanks Merlin she knows! Now I don't have to wake up extremely early in the mornings to check on you." Albus commented.  "You've been sneaking in every morning to wake up Scorpius and check on him?" She asked, her voice dripping in disappointment.

"Rose, you already had a lot on your mind. I didn't want to make anything worse. I wasn't trying to upset you, I was trying to help." I said. "Well as your girlfriend I'm supposed to help you through these things. Now what are your nightmares even about?" She asked carefully. "Nothing really." I said, trying not to make her concerned. "Really? Because if it was nothing then you wouldn't be screaming in pain in the middle of the night." She said sarcastically. That's when a thought hit me. "I didn't wake anyone else up did I?" I asked worriedly.
