ROSE'S POV-

"How did it happen?"

"Is it true?"

"Was he really dead?"

Questions, questions, and more questions. People couldn't seem to ask enough of them. Sure, the savior of the wizarding world's son had "died" and came back to life. But was it really any of there business? No, it wasn't.

It had been a week since Al had woken up and it was officially my first day back at school. I've practically been glued to his bed side, but he insisted I come back. Nobody really knows why Al woke up. I mean, he was brain dead. The healers said they've never seen anything like this. You would think the attack would have changed him. But it hasn't. He's still the same old Al he's always been. Constantly laughing and joking around.

Scorp hasn't been able to stay at the hospital as much as the rest of us in fear Lucius might suspect something. He comes after dinner usually spending all hours of the night talking to Al and I. The day I was supposed to go back to Hogwarts Al asked everyone except for me to leave the room.

"How's Alice been?" He asked. "Well obviously she's been great ever since you woke up." "No, I mean how was she when I was, well you know, in a coma?" "In all honesty, she was a mess. Quite possible even more so then I was." I said. "Well that's probably because right before I was attacked, I my may or may not have told her that I was in love with her." He admitted. My jaw dropped. "HOW COULD SHE NOT HAVE TOLD ME?" I shrieked.

"Well there as really no point seeing I was going to die." He said with a smirk. "Oh shut up." I said playfully. "So what did she say?" I asked eagerly. "Well that's the thing. I don't exactly remember. I was kinda hoping she had told you so I could see were I stood with her." He said sheepishly. I let out a loud laugh. "Al, just tell her you don't remember! She'll understand!" I claimed. "Yeah, you're probably right. Could you tell her to come in here?"

I nodded and walked out of the room. Alice was sitting in the waiting room casually talking with Roxy. She looked up at me and I narrowed my eyes. "Alice, Al wishes to speak with you." I said stiffly. She looked at me guiltily as if she knew exactly what Al had just told me. She got up and left as I settled into the seat farthest from everyone else.

I must have dozed off at some point because when I woke up, Scorpius was sitting next to me. I didn't know how long he had been there but he was sleeping and his head was sagging into my shoulder. I reached up and ran my hands through his thick blonde locks as he started to stir awake.

His eyes opened sleepily and a crooked grin spread across his face. "Hello love." "Hello to you too!" I said as I planted a kiss on his cheek. "How's Al doing?" He asked. "He's doing fairly good." I responded. "And how are you?" He asked. "Fine I guess. Just worried about all of the work I'm going to need to catch up on at school." I said wearily. "You'll make it up in no time. And on the topic of school, when do you think you'll be coming back?" "Well Al's been be badgering me about it ever since he woke up. Maybe soon I suppose." I said.

We continued to talk while we waited for Alice to exit Al's room so we could go back in. After about half an hour when she still hadn't come out I got tiered of waiting. "They're taking forever!" I whined. "Well maybe they're arguing. We should give them time to talk!" Scorpius offered. "We've given them time. I'm going in." I said firmly. Scorp rolled his eyes. "I might as well come with you then." He said.

We stood up and walked I tot he room. I let out a loud gasp. Right in front of me was my cousin and best friend, snogging so intensely I thought they might burst. The situation seemed all to familiar. "MY EYES!" I screamed. Scorpius just shook his head in disgust as the pulled apart, both out of breath and very embarrassed.

"Rose, just let us explain!" Cried Alice. "No I'm done with excuses from you two. You're both obviously in love with each other. And you randomly snogging isn't helping anything. So could one of you just work  up the courage to ask the other out? It's really not that bloody hard!" I said in a huff.

I stormed out of the room feeling extremely aggravated. I was sick of this hospital. It felt like the  fours walls were closing in on me. I tore through the waiting room until I got to the the row of fireplaces offered for flooing. "Hogwarts" I said clearly. With in seconds I was back in McGonagall's office with a thud. I stood up and ran straight to my common room. I needed to be alone. It felt like I was suffocating. As if all of the stress from the last few weeks was drowning me.

I mumbled the password to the portrait and ran straight to my room. I flopped onto my bed and let the squishy pillows and soft blankets engulf me.

I woke up later and it felt like I had been asleep for days. My mouth was as dry as the desert my head ached. I was still in my bed and my door was still closed. Surprised that Scorpius hadn't come to check on me I went down the stairs into the common room. I found it empty as well. After checking his room and the bathroom I concluded that he wasn't here. I looked out of the window and saw it was pitch black outside.

My heart started to race. While looking out of the window, I the reflection of a figure moving behind me. I took my wand out of my pocket as slowly as possible. Fear pulsed through my veins. I wasn't a Gryffindor for nothing. I could do this. I'd turn around in the count of three.

I let out a scream of terror. That's the last thing I remember before my world went black.

Hey guys! I hope you liked this chapter. Sorry it was a cliff hanger;)  I'm also sorry this chapter was so short. I worked on it a lot but it was honestly one of the hardest right. BTW the picture at the top is supposed to be Rose and Scorpius in the waiting room I'll try to update as soon as possible. XOXO
