SCORPIUS'S POV-

I hustled down the corridor down to the headmasters office. It was 7:00 A.M and I had just walked from the head's common room. I decided it was safe to sleep there since I had reconciled with Rose. I laid in bed for hours unable to sleep for I knew Rose was trying to save my butt. At 6:55 an owl pecked at my window. I opened it up and grabbed the piece of parchment tied onto its leg and it flew away. I opened the letter and read it. It read;

Scorpius, come quick to the Headmaster's office. We have a plan. - Rose

Since I had slept in last nights clothes, I was able to jump out of bed and head straight to McGonagall's office. I reached the door and banged on it with full force. After a few seconds of shuffling from the other side, Rose opened the door. She looked dead tiered. Her hair was in a sloppy ponytail. She had light purple bags underneath her eyes and her clothes were  and wrinkled. But when she looked up and saw me her face broke into a grin.

"Thank Merlin you're here. We've been working all night and we finally did it! We came up with a plan. You might not like it, but it's gonna work. I just know it!" She said enthusiastically. She stood on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around my neck. "I don't care. Whatever it is, I'll do it. As long as you're safe." I mumble into her hair. We broke apart and walked into the office.

I was surprised to see Harry and Ron sitting around a table cluttered with crumpled pieces of parchment and quills. They were deep in conversation and looked up when they saw us. "Scorpius! I'm so glad you decided to let us help you. We have a plan, and a bloody good one at that!" Said Ron. Harry nodded with a small smile.

"I really appreciate you all staying up all night for me, but if this so called "genius plan" endangers any of you, them I won't do it." I stated firmly. "Don't worry Scorp, we'll be just fine. Dad, do you want to explain everything?" Rose asked happily. For a girl who hadn't slept all night, she sure was energetic. Ron nodded and began to explain.

"So here's the deal, Scorpius. You're going to be a spy." I gasped. "You will go to Lucius and say you have made the decision to help him. But, you will also tell him that you refuse to hurt or kill anyone. After every "mission" you go on, you'll come to McGonagall and she'll call us and Rose. We will evaluate everything. We'll talk about who he's targeting, what his plans are, and who he's killed. We have some great potions from the ministry that you can take that will help if he tries to use a truth potion to check if your lying at all. You will also be able to sleep in the Heads common room so you can still speak to Rose and Albus, and yes you will be able to tell him what's going in. We will put charms around the whole common room so Lucius won't be able to get or hear inside." He finished.

I gasped again and looked over to meet Rose's gaze. She reached over to squeeze my hand and nodded in reassurance. "I know that this can work, Scorp. I just have a really good feeling ya know? Oh, and your parents. They're gonna send a team of aurors out to find them." She said happily.

I shook my head and tried to process the information. After staring blankly at a wall for several minutes I finally looked back over to Rose. "Ok." I finished simply. She smiled and leaned over to give me a peck on the lips.

We finished discussing the details and I headed back to the Head's Common Room. I left a few minutes earlier then Rose because we had decided we would never be seen together, just in case Lucius was watching. I walked through the portrait hole and plopped myself down on one of the couches as I waited for Rose. I let out a deep breath of relief.

We had a plan. Everyone would stay safe. Things were going to work out. I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice Rose walk in. She sat down beside me and lay her head on my shoulder. "I love you." She whispered. I smiled and kissed her forehead. "I love you too, Weasley." I murmured back.

We spent the rest of the afternoon talking and laughing and kissing. It was a great day. After several hours of this she lifted her head off of my lap with a serious expression. "I know my dad said that we could tell Al, but what about Alice. I mean, she's my best friend and she deserves to know. I know it might endanger her, but she'll be be furious if we don't tell her. I'll owl my dad and get his permission first, but I really want to tell her. Plus, do you know how ecstatic she'll be when she finds that we're back together? Well, she'll probably try and kill you first, ya know, for hurting me and all. But after the initial shock she'll be fine." She rambled.

I silenced her by pressing my lips to hers. "Ok, but that's it. We can't tell anyone else. Just owl your dad first." I finished with a smile. She snuggled up against me and lay her head in the crook of my neck. We must have eventually drifted off because we were both awoke from a loud scream.

My eyes popped wide open and Rose sat up. Bleary eyed and half asleep we looked over to see a blonde mess of curls looking at us furiously. "Get your filthy hands of her, Malfoy." She screamed. I opened my eyes wider to see that the mad blonde happened to be Alice. "Alice we can explain." Rose yelled back. "Oh yeah, explain why you were sound asleep in the arms of the very man who shattered your heart into a billion little pieces." She shot back.

Rose looked over to me for help and I snapped into action. "Alice, I promise we'll explain, but I want you to go and get Al. That way, we can tell you both the full story at the same time." I finished still half asleep.

It takes a lot to wake me up, and I'm usually not a very happy person in the mornings. Alice huffed and walked out of the room to get Albus. I groaned. "Haven't you told her I don't do well with getting up quickly?" I complained. Rose smirked and planted a kiss on my lips. I deepened the kiss by locking my hands around her waist. Her hands flew to my hair and she twisted her fingers into my pale locks. She smiled against my lips. We kept kissing until we heard a throat being cleared.

We broke apart and looked up. It seemed as if Al and Alice had arrived. Rose blushed madly and I rolled my eyes. "You better have a bloody good excuse for this Rose or I swear to Merlin I'll kill the both of you." She screeched. Al slapped her arm lightly and looked back over to us. "Ok. Go on and explain."

With that, for the second time in 24 hours, I told my tale of the last few months. Al and Alice listened intently, reacting at all the right moments. I finally finished and as expected, both jaws were hanging open. I let out a loud laugh and Rose punched my arm. "Scorp, shut up! This is not a laughing matter! We are all in danger!" She snapped

I kept laughing even harder. All 3 looked at me like I was insane. Between another crazy laugh I got out a few words. "I-I-it's just that, I'm relieved. After all of this, all of these months of not being able to tell any of you anything, it's all out in the open." I screeched like a madman.

Rose must have sensed a mental breakdown coming so she shooed Al and Alice away. I just continued to laugh. I couldn't stop. Crazy cackles flowed from my mouth freely. Rose scooted over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. "Scorpius calm down, love. What's wrong?" She asked continually.

My laughs turned into sobs. I didn't know why I was acting like this. I should be happy right? I was safe and I had the love of my life back. All was well. Then why was I crying like a two year old? At this point, I wasn't even embarrassed to be crying in front of Rose. It wasn't anything she hadn't seen before.

She didn't say anything, just rubbed circles into my back. After a while I wiped my eyes and looked up. "I'm sorry I don't know what came over me. I guess I just lost it." I said shakily. "I
There's not need to apologize. Its lunch, so do you want me to go get you food?" She asked sweetly. "No, I'm fine. I know it's the middle of the day but I haven't gotten proper sleep in months and I'm just really tired." I mumbled already half asleep. She nodded and curled up against me once more. I think I can speak for both of us by saying that we both had the best sleep we've had in months.
