ROSE'S POV-

The next few weeks flew by. September faded into October and Scorpius and I gradually faded into a relationship. It was never really established but we both knew. Al also accepted us together and things started to feel normal. That's until it started.

It started a few days ago. And when I say it I mean the nightmares. They're horrible. Images of my loved ones dying or leaving me. The things I cared about most being taken away. But that's not even the worst of it. The worse one was when I heard a low bone-chilling voice. "Come to me Rose. If not, the boy will die a very painful death." And then a horrible vision of Scorpius dying flashes through my mind.

I woke up screaming. I heard rushed footsteps and then the door busted open. "Are you ok?" Scorpius asked as he rushed to my side. I sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine." I lied. "Sure you are." He said sarcastically. "This is the 5th time this has happened this week." He said. "I told you, I'm fine." I snapped. I tried to hold back the tears but failed miserably.

"Come on, love. You know you can tell me" he said in a softer tone. He crawled onto my bed and I curled up in his arms. "I h-had a dream. And h-h-he s-said he would k-kill you." I stuttered, my voice breaking at the last word. "It's ok love. I'm not going anywhere. It was just a dream." He lulled. I started sobbing and even harder. "I-I-It just scared me." I said in between sobs. After what seemed like hours, I finally calmed down. Scorpius must have thought I was asleep because he started to get up to leave.

"Please don't leave me." I begged. "Ok." He said simply. He pulled me close to him and I drifted of into a deep, dreamless sleep.

SCORPIUS'S POV-

The next morning I woke up with a start, confused as to where I was. But then I looked down and saw the tangled mess of fiery red hair hair curled against me. I immediately recalled the nights events and frowned. Rose had been having nightmares. I didn't know how to help her. I hope my presence is enough.

I looked over at the clock and realized that we were already well into our second class of the day. I knew that Rose would freak out but she needed the rest. I decided to let her sleep a little while longer. After another few hours of sleeping, she finally began to stir. Her emerald green eyes popped open and they met my silver ones. She smiled and pecked me on ,the cheek. "Thanks for staying with me last night." She said. "Of course." I said with a smile. She rolled over to check the time and let out a small scream. "Blood hell, Scorpius! It's almost lunch! Why did you let me sleep?"She asked angrily. "Because you needed it." I simply stated.

"But what will we tell McGonagall?" She asked worriedly. "That's the easy part. We tell her to truth. Well just say that you were having nightmares and needed sleep so I stayed to make sure you were ok." I answered. "Ok. I guess that's alright. So what are we going to do the rest of the day?" She asked. "I don't actually know. I guess we'll just have to figure it out!" I said with a laugh.
