ROSE'S POV-

I woke up the next morning with Scorpius's arms wrapped tightly around my waist. Last nights events flashed through my mind and I shuddered. I went insane. Completely freaking insane. Who caries out entire conversations with someone in a coma.  Hmm, I don't know. Maybe someone who's INSANE!

I let out a long sigh. I just miss him so much, and there's really nothing I can do about it. I lay awake until I felt Scorpius jerk to the side. Since my head was on his chest, I felt his heart rate pick up. His breaths became more labored and he let out a small yelp. I sat up to see if he was OK when I realized that he was still asleep. Nightmare. He was having a nightmare.

I started to shake him but he wouldn't wake up. "Come on Scorp, get up." I begged. I kept shaking him but nothing changed. His body started to shake and his face scrunched up in pain. He let out another scream of agony."STOP. PLEASE, NOT ROSE." He shouted.  I needed to wake him up, so, I did the only plausible thing I could think of. I slapped him as hard as I possibly could. His eyes popped open.

"Bloody hell Rose, what in Merlin's name was that for?" He asked while holding his cheek. "You should be thanking me. I only slapped you because you were screaming in your sleep and I couldn't wake you up any other way. You were having a nightmare" "What are you talking about Rosie. I wasn't having a nightmare. " He claimed. "Really. So you begging an unknown source to stop hurting me and screaming in your sleep is just a normal night for you?" I asked sarcastically.

"Wow. Did I really?" He asked with a confused expression. "Well I'm not making it up." I said. "Fine, fine, I believe you. I wonder why I don't remember it." He said still looking incredibly confused. "I don't know. We should ask Harry. But we can do it later because if you remember, I'm going back to Hogwarts today."

I looked up at the clock hanging on the wall and gasped. I only had ten minutes to get ready. I bounded out of the chair while rubbing the crick in my neck. Sleeping in a chair every night was very uncomfortable. I threw on my robes that were hanging over a chair in the corner of the room and pulled my hair into two sloppy braids that hung down my back. I brushed my teeth and gathered my books. By the time I was done Scorpius was already ready to go and waiting by the door. We walked through the waiting room hand in hand until we reached the fire place. Once we flooed over we only had three minutes to get to class.

"Race you." Challenged Scorpius. "You're on" I said. We both took of into a sprint towards our first class of the day, History of Magic. He was ahead, but I was gaining on him a an incredibly fast pace. Right as we were about to reach the door I stopped knowing very well that if I didn't, I'd be hurled forward. Scorp didn't use the same tactics as I did and kept going, causing him to fly straight threw the door that I had opened with a simple opening charm.

He landed in a heap on the floor at the feet of Professor Paulnet. He looked up to see Professor scowling down at him while I stood behind him, doubled over with silent laughter. Scorpius's eye caught mine and I started to laugh even harder. "Mr. Malfoy, Miss Weasley, how nice of you two to join us." He said in a strict tone. "Sorry Professor. It won't happen again." Said Scorpius solemnly.

He got to his feet and we both sat down at a desk together. "Thanks for that Rose." He said in an irritated tone. "Oh come on Scorp, you know it was funny." I said with a laugh. "OK, fine. It was pretty funny." He said with a smirk. He reached for my hand under the desk and squeezed it. "It's times like these were I remember how much I really love you."

I finished the rest of my classes that day with no issues. Me and Scorp met back at McGonagall's office to floo back over to St. Mungo's.

The next few weeks continued much like this. Wake up, go to class, go back to the hospital. There were still no improvements in Al's health. I'd started sleeping back in the Head's common room. There was really no point in killing my back by sleeping in an uncomfortable chair every night when he wasn't getting any better.
