SCORPIUS'S POV-

I walked through the darkness into the Forbidden Forest with high hopes. I was on my way to meet Lucius and confront him about the possibility of having another spy. It's been almost a week since Al was attacked and there's been no improvement.

It's been hard on everyone, but it's been the worst for Rose. She hasn't left Al's bedside since the second day we arrived at the hospital, only to go to the bathroom. She sleeps there and only eats when I can coax her to. She only talks to me, which is unfortunate because I'm only there during the night.

If Lucius knew that I was staying there 24/7 with Rose then he'd suspect something. So, I go to class everyday, take notes for Rose and myself and then spend the night with her curled up against me. She usually only cries during the night, when it's just us and Al. She blames herself. She claims that the only reason Al came to our common room was to comfort her.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't blame myself too. The only reason Al had to comfort Rose was because she'd gotten into a fight with me, which had been entirely my fault.

Alice hasn't been doing too well either. Since she saw the whole attack, she has nightmares a lot. She usually just sits in the hospital waiting room with Hugo, or with me and Rose.

So, here I find myself trudging through the Forbidden Forest, on my way to meet Lucius, to find out what the bloody hell happened to my best friend. I reached our meeting spot and wasn't surprised to see that he was already there. "Ah Scorpius, I've been waiting." All of the anger I've been holding inside of me bubbled up. "What the bloody hell did you to to Al?" I yelled furiously. He smiled. "It's not what I did, but what someone else did." "What does that mean?" I yelled.

"Well, what it means, is that I didn't break our agreement. I personally didn't hurt any of your blood traitor friends. Someone else did." He said with a wicked grin. "It doesn't matter who hurt him, it's the fact that he was hurt in the first place." I spit. "Fine, if you don't care who did it then I won't tell you." He hissed "Fine then, tell me." I said back with just as much venom. "If you must know, it was someone new I'm recruiting. She wishes to remain nameless, but I personally think she's going to be a big help to my plan." He said.

"If she's going to be helping us then won't I meet her eventually?" I pushed. "Well, maybe eventually, but not yet." He answered mischievously. "OK, so why is she helping us?" I asked. "I have my reasons"He said. "Why did she hurt Al. You swore that my friends would stay safe." I said with a tad bit of hurt in my voice. "I needed her to prove herself. I needed to see if she was willing to make sacrifices. I needed to see if she was worthy." He finished. "Well was she?" "Yes, yes she was indeed." I nodded trying to figure out who it was. "Now if you'll excuse me I have other business to attend to. I'll meet you here in two weeks time. And I really hope your friend is........ OK." He finished with a cruel laugh. I clenched my fists to restrain myself and headed back to the castle.

I mumbled the password to McGonagall's office and flooed over to St. Mungos. Ever since the attack all of the Weasleys and I have had full access to the headmistress's office for flooing purposes only. I landed in the hospital with  thud and took in my surroundings. All of the aunts and uncles sat in the far back corner of the waiting room either asleep or talking to one another. Alice was slumped against Hugo's shoulder, Lily asleep on the other.

Her and James hadn't been doing too well either. Neither has left the waiting room. James, Louis, and Fred sat together whispering in low voices. Roxy, Lucy, Molly, and Dom all stood near the back of the room talking with solemn expressions. Teddy and Vic stopped in once a day bringing around baby Claire to cheer people up. Molly and Arthur sat together near the front of the waiting room. And last but not least, Harry and Ginny.
