Chapter 60: Mia

"That's a bear." The boys keep mumbling.

"Yeah it's a bear." I laugh as everything comes rushing back to me.

Vic's parents have a pet bear named Shadow, which is pretty badass. The Grangers have always kinda been a second family to me. Vic used to take me her when I was littler. Vic is a perfect blend of her parents, almost half and half. Mr. Granger smiles upon seeing me (after hugging his daughter of course).

"Staying out of trouble?" He wonders and I laugh.

"Trying to but it isn't working really well." I admit with a smile.

"The one beside her knocked her up, daddy." Vicy says as she sits in the grass playing with Shadow. "But don't yell at him, he's had enough yelling the past couple of days."

"Met her family, huh?" Mr. Granger wonders and Rikki laughs.

"Yeah." He says as pulls me into his side and kisses my temple.

"How's your parents doing, sugar?" Mrs. Granger wonders.

"Dead and the other is mentally deranged, so about normal." I admit and they smile.

Vicy goes on to explain CC to her parents. I pull Rikki over to Shadow, telling him that e bear won't hurt him. I sit down on the ground and Shadow lays across my lap. I let his head and he sniffs Rikki's boots.

"Rik, he won't hurt you." I promise my boyfriend.

He sits down beside me and Shadow sits in his lap with his paws on Rikki's shoulders. Shadow licks Rikki and I laugh. Shadow moves to tackling Bret and I yawn.

"Going back to bed?" Rikki asks and I nod. "okay." He pulls me up.

I open my eyes and I roll into Rikki. His hands run up my side.

"You have a doctors appointment in a week." Rikki says.

"We get the first picture of the baby." I say and he smiles.

"I can't wait." He admits. "What do you want it to be?"

"I honestly don't care, I'll be happy either way." I say and Rikki nods.

"Me to." He agrees. "What about names?"

"We don't even know what the baby is." I say and he laughs.

"So no?" Rikki wonders.

"I didn't even think about it, babe." I admit. "Have you?"

"Kind of. I like the name Keith." He says and I smile.

"Two Bit's real name." I say quietly and he nods.

"You're favourite book." Rikki smiles.

I've send it a thousand times but he's pretty fucking perfect.
