"Hey baby." Rikki says as he walks in the back door. "Did you hear anything from Vic's doctors appointment?"
"Nothing yet, I've also been on the phone with my grandmother for the past hour and a half." I sigh as Rikki sits at the table beside me.
"How bad?" He wonders.
"She wants us to take Keith to Brooklyn to see my mom which isn't going to happen and she wants us to go to Ireland so she can meet Keith." I explain. "I don't even think Keith can fly yet."
"Are you thinking about this?" Rikki wonders once he locks his fingers in mine.
"I have no idea. I love Ireland but I don't want to leave now with Vicy as she is." I admit. "What do you think?"
"Your family has a right to meet him, baby." He says. "Where in Ireland would we be going?"
"Dublin. Churches and bars line the street." I say and he laughs.
"Bret and Bobby would be in their glory." Rikki smiles. "But churches?"
"Tons of them, most of the country is Catholic." I explain and he nods. "Why?"
"Just wondering." He explains. "Maybe we can plan to go up their in a month or so. Maybe we can convince everyone to come with us."
"Yeah maybe." I agree. "I'm gonna go check on Keith." I say as I stand up.
Why did Rikki care about the churches so much?
