Day 9.1.

After we went to the Ranch, I met Floriean. He was so nice and lovely. I automatically checked him out. It was so typical of me. We sat outside for nearly 2 more hours. It was already dark but we had a typical countryside fire and tea. Carla took her guitar and played some nice songs she learned the past year. Both of us did never take lessons in guitar, but once I tried but I gave up. She didn't and she was really good in playing at this time.

'Carla? You live on a Ranch now and I know it was always your big wish because you love horses. You took lessons when you were younger but did you continue it?' I asked curiously.

'Yeah, I learned country riding on Ruby. But I'm still not the best because I traveled alot the past year.'

'Oh haha you know AMY...is...' I stopped talking because I had to breathe.

'Christina? Are you okay?' Floriean asked.

'Um yeah, I just... UMM okay she was the one who loved riding so yeah let's go on from this topic...' I quickly said because I didn't want to talk about my sisters. I knew I would cry like a baby and I didn't want to ruin this night. The night we reunited.

Carla turned around to Floriean and whispered something to him.

'Umm Christina? What about a journey with the horses tomorrow? We three.' Floriean suddenly offered.

'Whaaat??? I'm not even able to ride. I don't know how. And my arm?' I laughed a bit.

'I'll give you a little starter lesson and then we can go. Your arm is unimportant. One arm counts.' he continued.

'Christina. You can't say no. Please do it for me...' Carla had her unbelievable angelic smile on. I just couldn't say no.

'Oh my gosh... Me on a horse... Okay. Tomorrow.' I said. We talked til after midnight and then we decided to go sleep. I was really tired. Floriean put out the fire and so we stood up. But when I stood up, I felt a bit dizzy and sat down again. I held my hand in the front of my forehead. Carla and Floriean turned around.

'Chrissy!! Gosh what the heck is wrong with you???' Carla kneeled in the front of me.

'Nothing. I think I just stood up too fast and I'm really tired.' I didn't want to talk about the last days. I knew it was the stress I had. Carla helped me up and together we walked in and upstairs. The ranch house was a huge old farmer house. Or at least it looked like this. Everywhere I spotted old pictures from riding competitions. And everything looked so comfortable and lovely. When I got into the room I was going to sleep in, I looked at an old toy horse children could ride on.

'So, are you okay with that room?' Carla asked. I just nodded and sat on the bed.

'Good night Christina. See you this morning.' she giggled and rushed out of the room. 10 more minutes and every light on the floor were off. I went out and rightly into the bathroom but I felt the urge to cry out again. I didn't want to be in an foreign room and there I start crying with such a pain. I went to the bathroom and started to cry out. I sat on the bottom and every scene of my last days replayed in my head. But why to this time?! The whole evening was SO good and I was really happy. Two moments later I thought about it and I got it. I mentioned Amy and she loved riding. Everything was just so real. I wanted Amy to ride with me. I knew what I would change. Amy always asked me to go riding with her but I just said no everytime. I promised myself to go riding with Amy whenever she wants to. After this thought I slowly stopped crying and washed my face with water. The way I walked along the floor into my room was really hard. I was still really tired. I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes. One last tear rolled down my cheeks.

-A few hours later, around 9am-

'Lou!! CLOSE THE FREAKING DOOR!' someone yelled from somewhere and scared me. I quickly sat up. My heartbeat got faster and faster.

'Omg...' I whispered to myself. I stood up and looked out of the window. A girl, not older than 13 or 14, ran right behind the jumping circle. I walked downstairs and met Floriean preparing some breakfast.

'Um Morning Floriean, who yelled and who's the girl who's running away?'

'Morning Christina. I yelled, because Lou, Lou is the girl who might run away, let the door open. Again. I mean, now you might think I'm overdramatically about this, but the door needs to be closed. Lou always forget it!' he said.

'Um okay.' I answered and looked around.

'Just sit down. Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes.' he said and so I did.

'Where's Carla? And will we have breakfast with your parents?'

'Carla feeds the horses and prepares Ruby and Blizzard for you two. My parents won't be here today. They're visiting my aunt, because she's in the hospital.'

'Oh I'm sorry for your aunt. And why just two horses? I thought you come with us?'

'I have to stay at the ranch with the riding students., because my parents aren't here. Sorry Christina.'

In this moment, Carla rushed in. She smiled at me and took my hand. She pulled me out of the house rightly to the horses. My eyes got wide open because I didn't think the horse she have chosen for me would be that huge.

'Noo Carla why did you choose such a huge horse??'

'Hahaha Christina. You're such a baby. She's not even huge. So, this is Blizzard.' Carla laughed. When she said 'Blizzard', the horse looked up to me and made a weird face.

'Heeey Bliazzard. Nice to meet you hahaha.'

'Wanna have breakfast? Flo bakes the best waffles.' she said and I lost my smile.

'Christina? Did I say something wrong?... Omg, waffles are Dani's favorite food...I'm so sorry Chrissy!' she walked up to me and hugged me until we got interrupted by Lou.

'Carla!? Could you please help me to separate Jelly from Beanie?' she screamed.

'Ugh again Lou? Jelly is your Pony so you should avoid to bring it in contact with Beanie.' Carla got annoyed. I stood there like a shy little girl.

'Please leave us alone Lou. Try it alone.' she continued. Lou turned around stamped away.

'I'm so sorry Christina.' she smiled weakly and hugged me once again.

'It's alright Carla. Please, could we go in before we go?' I asked. She nodded and we walked in. I didn't eat any waffles and just picked an apple. After that we went outside.

'Sit on the horse.' Carla demanded me. I had literally no clue how to start. She laughed a bit and helped me up.

'Oh my gosh... Am I really sitting up here??'

'Yes you do. Now press your feet on Blizzards belly.' she gave me instructions for like 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I finally got how ride slowly.

End of the chapter 9.1.! 9.2. follows soon! I know not much happened in 9.1. but hope you like it anyway!

also, I know that it's been a long time since I uploaded the last part but I can tell you why. My computer is broken since the end of November and I'm not so comfortable with phone writing. Well, I wrote this chapter on my phone but yeah... -Piper
