Day 10.1.

-8am-

*ring ring*

I woke up, because door bell rang. Sunday morning?? I looked at my phone to check the time. 8am? Who the heck rings at 8am? I grabbed my kimono and went downstairs. Nobody was downstairs, so I went to the door.

'Morning Miss.' a policeman and a policewoman looked into my face and showed me their licenses. I was really confused.

'Morning, what's up?' I answered.

'Are you the leader of this Ranch?' he asked.

'Umm no, wait a moment, I'll call him downstairs.' I said and walked away.

'Floriean??' I yelled through the house. Luckily was no one else except Carla in the house. Floriean didn't reply and didn't come.

'Excuse me. I'll go upstairs. Wait here.' I told them and I ran upstairs.

I knocked on Floriean's room. He didn't answer so I went in. Oh he wasn't there. No one was in the house. I walked back downstairs.

'I'm sorry nobody is in the house. What is it about by the way?' I asked curious.

'Horses were on the highway. We wanted to know if the horses came from this ranch. It was near the ranch.' the lady said. I was shocked for a moment.

'Omg... I would like to help you, but I don't know. I don't live here.. I really don't know where the owners are. Is someone hurt?' I asked carefully.

'Two cars crashed, but nobody died and they're not that hurt. We could save the people and we were able to close the highway as fast as we could. The horses are hurt. A vet is looking at them right now. We don't know if a horse died.' the man told me.

'Oh my gosh, hope they get well soon. Wait, I can try to call someone.' I said ran upstairs to take my phone. I typed Carla's number and went back downstairs. No answer... Carla turned her phone off..

'No answer.' I said to them.

Suddenly, Lou rushed by.

'Morning!' Lou yelled.

'Lou, wait!' I yelled back and ran to her.

'Yeaah, what's up?' she asked.

'Do you know where carla and Floriean are?'

'No, my Dad just brought me here, why?'

'Okay, you know the horses here, right?'

'Yes, of course. Why do you ask me all this?? What's going on??' she asked me and I pulled her into the stable.

'Wait! The horses should be outside!' she said and pulled me behind the stable. My eyes got wide open. The fence was broken. Just a few horses were in there, but in a part where the fence wasn't broken. Seemed like someone already brought them back. The police people came to us.

'Morning girl.' the lady said and Lou waved her.

'So, seems like the horses are from this ranch.' the man said.

'Yes, but I still don't know how this could happen...' I told them.

'If you see the owner, call me. We need to go.' the nice lady said and gave me something with her telephone number on it. They said bye and left.

'What now?' Lou asked.

'I really, don't, know. But I will change clothes first.' I answered and walked back to the house. And I was still in my pajamas by the way.

I went back to the house and dressed up. I still wondered about Carla and Floriean. Maybe they were already looking for the horses... but if they do, why didn't they tell me?? I sat on my bed and looked at my necklace. I noticed that the little Moon on it was broken. I got this nacklace from Lauren. It was about 4 or 5 years ago. Lauren didn't buy it, she made it when she was 8. She was at a holiday camp with her friend Claire. I always loved this necklace and whenever Lauren wore it, I started smiling. Then a few years ago, she surprised me with it on our birthday. Now it got broken and I literally started crying.

'Christine!' Lou entered my room. Omg, did she really call me Christine when I thought on Lauren?!

'Lou, what do you want? And my name is Christina... not Christine...' I looked away and wiped my tears away. I hoped she didn't see me crying, but she did. Somehow I hissed a bit, because the thought on Lauren hurt me.

'I'm sorry ChristinA. But... why do you cry? Did I say something wrong? I didn't know your name...' she asked. She asked really carefully. This surprised me, because I really thought that she's a snooty girl.

'No you didn't say anything wrong.. I.. you just remembered me on my sister..' I said and Lou walked up to me. She sat next to me.

'Why is that bad? Oh my gosh... don't say she died...'

'Omg no she didn't... but I died for her and she has all rights to do this..'

'No! Whatever you've done! She shouldn't think that about you!' Lou yelled around.

'Lou, calm down, why are you so angry?' I asked her carefully.

'My sister died and my Mom lives in Australia. I only have my Dad. I know how I am sometimes... I know that I'm sometimes really unfair to others... but the death of my sister wasn't fair! I never learned how to love my sister or my Mom... My Dad is never home, because of his Job. He's rich and gives me everything, but no love! The ranch is the only place I feel like home... even if no one really talks to me.. All I see is screaming and laughing... But not with me... to me and about me.' she said and sobbed. I took my arms around her and she cried into my breast. How could I be so rude to my sisters?! I have my whole family and I had the love of my family, while people like Lou have nothing! Lou was so right... And I felt so sorry for Lou.

'Lou, if I'm allowed to ask... how old was your sister and how did she die?' I asked.

'Yeah you're allowed to ask, you're the first one who cares about me.. like a.. like a Mom.. Lizzy, that was her name, was 4 years old... she went into the kindergarden and she didn't came back at the afternoon. A truck crashed into the kindergaden fence with high speed... and the kids who played there.. just one of them survived. The driver was drunk and the truck explode after crashing in there. I waited for her to come home with daddy.. but this day he came alone. But when his phone rang, he didn't care anymore. He walked away and left me alone! Two months after that, my Mom moved to Australia...' she didn't stop sobbing...

End of Day 10.1! For everyone who's asking I won't write 2 parts for every Day. It's just now because of the things which happen. Hope you like it :) And sorry if there are missing letters in words... The keyboard is broken -.-
