Day 11

I woke up at 10am, which wasn't often. I dressed up and went downstairs. Nobody was there...again.

'Hey, where's everybody?' I yelled around.

'Christina, come out! Surprise!' Carla yelled from somewhere, until I spotted her next to the window at the veranda. I rolled my eyes, because her surprises were always crazy like heck.

'Coming!' I yelled back and smiled. I really didn't know what Carla had done, but then I opened the front door and: My old choir friend Sophie stood in front of the car.

'Oh my gosh, what's going on?? Soph!' I smiled and pulled her into a tight hug.

'Surprise.' Carla and Soph said.

'Ready for a huge shopping tour? Soph is a fashion designer now and she's looking for a new design campaign and we're going to be her fashion assistants. So, how does it sound?' Carla asked and excitement came up.

'YES OMG!' I screamed around and we went into the car.
Our first stop was Jo's, because we wanted to catch some breakfast first.

Why Jo's? It was Dawney's (Soph's sister) favorite local until she moved to Europe for business. And why do we care about Dawney's interests? Dawney wasn't just a friend, she was our leader for a long time and we always had our meetings there. Now we always meet at that little place called Jo's.

We ordered some bagels and coffee and talked about life. Soph told us about her job and Dawney and we told her about different stuff. I decided to not to speak about Mom.

We left Jo's around 12, so we went to the shopping center. I didn't know what Carla meant by 'fashion assistants' so I didn't start to run into every single shop I actually would've been in already... But nobody could stop me OR my friends. Wow.

'Christina, what's up? You look so addicted to the shops and we know you. Why aren't you in already?' Soph laughed. Thanks god, problem solved. I went into the next store right there to look at that awesome dress I've seen through the window. Well, everything went amazing in there until... I noticed it was the shop Dani liked to go to. I think 10 minutes have been gone until I noticed that and then, somehow I changed.

'Christina, what's up? You look so... Hurt now?' Sophie asked because she came by.

'Um no everything is fine thanks. So what is that thing called 'fashion assistant' exactly about?' I answered.

'You sure everything's fine? Well, that's exactly why I came by. Why didn't you change into it yet?'

'Change into what?' I was totally confused until she pointed at the dress I still had in my hands.

'Oh I didn't think I should try it on, because I didn't want to spend that much money for new clothes. I actually wanted to buy something I need for my moms birthday present.' I replied.

'Oh come on Christina. Well, you don't want to spend that much money but you're still my Fashion assistant. So, now I demand you to try it on.' she said strictly and added softly 'Oh come on Chrissy, I'm not only here for business, I'm here to spend some time with you and Carla. I really missed our funny shopping tours...'

She laid her arm around my shoulders and and took the dress out of my hands.

'Here it is. You will try it on. Right now. I know you love it and you gonna love it even more after trying on.'

'Wise words. Wise words.' I shook my head in agreement and smiled. I went into a cabin and tried it on. Even if it was hard with my arm. Why did I have to run into car? Or at least almost... But at least I really liked that dress. It looked waay better than I actually thought.
