First of all, this isn't the Rapunzel story you grew up hearing. In fact, the only similarities between the two stories are the names. The story you're familiar with is, in all reality, the twisted lie. THIS story is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. The first part of the story is essentially the same as the traditional Rapunzel story you think you know. However, once Rapunzel was taken into the care of the "evil" witch things changed. The real story goes like this:

One day a handsome prince went riding on his horse in the enchanted forest out by the witches castle. He passed by the tallest, most oldest tower and heard a lot of cracking whips and screaming. Figuring it was a damsel in distress, he decided to 'save' her or so he thought. But as he got closer to the tower, he could find no way to enter it and save the young damsel in distress. So he walked around the tower, circling it looking for a way to get in. Finally, he got beneath the only window of the tallest tower and he called out, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair," (he thought that, Rapunzel was the damsel's name since he heard shouts of the name and he thought the only logical way to get up to the tower was climbing up a rope or for some strange reason someone's hair) Just then the whipping sounds stopped and Rapunzel's long braid tumbled down to the ground. The young prince wasted no time scrambling up to 'save' her. When he reached the window he immediately wished he'd just stayed in bed that morning.

"What are you doing here?" demanded the 'evil witch,' You're interrupting our fun. We were right in the middle of kinky love-making and you just had to go and ruin the moment didn't you?"

"W-w-well I-I-I was just t-trying to s-save..." stammered the tongue tied young prince.

"Save who? Me?" exclaimed an astounded Rapunzel, as she removed the furry handcuffs that had previously bound her to the wall.
"Do I really look like I need saving? What were you thinking? Did you really think I was some bubble-headed damsel in distress who needed to be rescued? Furthermore, did yo really expect me to marry you?!"

"Well-I-I-I thought..." the prince said soon realizing what was happening.

"We is a lesbians!" the witch and Rapunzel exclaimed.

Stunned the young prince fell off the whip made out of Rapunzel's hair, almost falling to the ground but luckily, his horse was right there. He fell unto the horse, and the terrified horse ran back to the young prince's castle (actually his father's castle), with the prince still unconscious.  When the young prince regained consciousness he was in pain from the fall and blinded from the sights he witnessed in the tallest tower. He later swore not to go trying to save no supposed damsel in distress before next time he won't be so lucky and may probably die from shock of what this world is coming to.
