Chapter 18

*jamies pov*

We arrive at the prison and Glenn is at the gates he opened them and we go in, I get off of Daryl's Motercycle and rick calls a meeting, once everyone is in the cell block gathered around rick speaks.

"So I had a long discussion with this governor, he wants the prison" Rick says

"And..... What are we gonna do about it" carol asks

"Were going to war" he says that then leaves, I look over at Daryl and walk towards him,

"Hey can we talk?" I ask him, he shrugs, we walk outside along the fence,

"What are we?" I ask him, he looks at me confused

"I mean as a couple, are we friends or more, am I your girlfriend? Or am I jus-" he cuts me off by kissing me

"Damnit Jaimie, the way you make me feel. I don't know, but I know we are something together" he says

I smile and nod

"Are you ok Daryl?" I ask

"Oh me, nothing I'm just looking at your face" he said

I laugh then shake my head

"Lets go"

"So are ya going to move your stuff into my room?" He asked

"No lovey dovey bullshit" I say

"Yep" He says and we keep walking until we get to my cell, I don't have a lot move only my bag, we move my stuff into our room,

"I'm gonna go talk with Maggie" I say to him.

Then I leave to find Maggie, I look in her cell and    She's not there, i turn around to leave and I bump In to her,

"Hey I was just looking for you" she says to me,

"I was too" I say while laughing,

"Why were ya looking for me?" She asks me

"Because I talked to Daryl and were kinda something?" I say smiling

"I knew it!" She says

"But I really think it's because we need each other" I say

"Do you need condoms?", I spit out my water and choke while laughing

"I'm good" I say and we both start laughing until we cry

"What are you guys laughing at" Glenn walks in the cafeteria asking,

"I Asked Jamie if she needed condoms because her and Daryl are something" she says quickly

"Maggie!" I say while slightly blushing

"Are you drunk" Glenn asks us, we look at him the at each other then laugh.

"Why would we be drunk?, and where would we get the alcohol from" I ask him, he shakes his head while smiling

"You guys are crazy" he says to us while laughing

"Thanks Glenn I take that as a compliment" I say to him, i say bye to Maggie and walk away to find Rick, I find him by Judith, that's what they named her.

"Hey Rick" I walk over to him holding Judith

"Hey Jamie" he says to me,

"What did you talk about with the governor?" I ask him, he sighs

"We talked about how we can separate areas without violence but he disagreed to what I had to offer so he said that if we don't leave he'll come attack us" he said I nod,

"I think I have an idea" I tell him, he nods saying keep talking and I tell him the whole plan.

"Were going to have to discuss this with everybody" he says I nod, and tell him goodnight and walk towards mine and Daryl's room. I see him changing his shirt and I notice scars on his back, I frown already knowing what caused them I walk up behind him and hug him, he tenses but then relaxes once he realizes it's me.

"How" I ask him referring to his back,

"My dad" he says, I nod

"I have scars to" I whisper in his ear, he turns around and we get into bed.

*jamies pov*

I wake up in Daryl's arms, I smile I could get used to this, I squirm out of his grip trying not to wake him up but I fail

"Sorry didn't mean to wake you" I say to him

"Nah it's ok, I was already up" he says to me then pecks my lips.

We walk to the cafeteria where everyone is eating, I was handed some oatmeal but I didn't eat it, this damn "war" thing with the governor is getting to me.

"Hey why aren't ya eatin?" Daryl asks me

"I'm not hungry" I reply, he nods his head.
Everyone is done eating and rick calls another discussion,

"I have a plan to get us through this mess" rick says and continues talking, I zone out because I already know what the plan is, he stops talking and he says to pack our bags.
