Ch2: I Need You

I get a good look at my kidnapper. It was a guy, dark black hair, and...his eyes were...red.

"Who are you?" I ask, trying not to fret. He doesn't answer and ransacks through his bag. He takes out a small bottle, similar to the holy water filled ones, except, the liquid in his bottle was a light shade of green.

"Drink this." He told me in a serious tone. "What is it? I don't even know you. I'm not drinking it!" I say back to him. "Drink it, or else." He threatens. "Or else wha-" Everything was so fast, I didn't even see it coming. In seconds, he popped open the cap of the bottle, and drinks the liquid, holding it in his mouth, not gulping it down.

He flashed at lightning speed and smashed his lips against mine, forcing me to drink the water. *Cough, cough.* "Or else that's what." He comments. He wipes his mouth as if nothing happened. I pointed at him, shocked and angry. "Wha- What did you- Why did you? What did you make me drink?" Suddenly, I felt a surge of power through my body.

It was refreshing, like drinking water after a long hot day. "Feeling it?" Asks the dude, nodding in satisfaction. "Just who are you?" I ask, noticing that I just had my first kiss. "The name's Aaron. Aaron...Lykes!" He answers. "I'm-" I'm cut off by Aaron. " Percy Falestal. I know." He jumps in and says in a matter of fact tone. "How do you know my name? And what do you want from me?" I realize, I should be more suspicious than fittingly happy about my first kiss.

"Uhh, anyways, we should start on our journey." He starts to leave. "Wait! What journey?! I have to get back home, I'm not coming with you." I defend myself, getting ready if he tries to pick me up and make me come with him by force. But,  instead, he just keeps walking. I get curious and start following him. "What is this about? Why am I the one who has to come with you? If you don't answer, then I'm going back. Back to my family. They're waiting for me." I tell him.

He hesitates than answers. "This journey, it's a big role, not for me...But for you. As we get closer to the reason why we're on this journey, you'll know why. But that's all I can say. I'm not so sure of the reason why either. But my master has ordered for me to find you and embark on this journey with you. My master...He is ill." He stops and turns to me, for my answer.

"But I don't even know you. My family is waiting too..." I start to hesitate. What is this journey about? And I'm playing the biggest role of my life? What is my role, that it's so big, I have to leave my family, my home?  "I..I can't go with you. I'm- I'm taking too big of a risk not seeing my family anymore. I'm-" I stop in mid sentence, there's shouting. It's the Law and Order troops, searching for me!

"Percy!" "Miss Falestal!" "Are you here?!" The voices of many troops of the Law and Order ringed through the whole forest. Then I hear Aaron swear next to me. Next thing I know, Aaron has his hand over my mouth, and his other hand on my back, leaping in the air. His hand is muffling my shouts and his other hand is supprting me from falling. I kick and attempt to untangle myself from his arms.

I hear him murmur something under his breath. "Addormisco. Paulisper. Sed dum ad integrum non excitare surgere. Incantatione, eieci te.(Fall asleep.For a little while. You shall not wake up to any sound but until I awake you. Incantation, I cast thee.)" I suddenly felt like sleeping or dozing off. I couldn't hold onto reality, darkness was entering my field of vision and mind."Oratio ad vos.(Prayer to you.)" He says under his breath. And then, finally, it overwhelmed me to the point, that I let go of my consciousness.

"Percy...Percy..Percy! Wake up!" There was a soothing voice, shaking me to wake up. I groan and hear a chuckle. "Why are you waking me up so early?!" I feel around for my clock. Then I realize, I got kidnapped, I'm not at home. I jump up, taking in my surrounding, fully awake. Aaron is stooped over something. "Where- Where are we?" I stammer, knowing that we're in a cave, but where exactly. And how far we were from the village.

" Somewhere in the middle of Pantamal." He hands my a bowl of what looks like stew. "Pantamal?! But that's lands and lands away from the village!" I stir the stew, wondering if he posoined it. "For normal people yes, but not for us." He justifies. "Normal people? Us? I am normal, I'm not some monster." I tell him. "Uh...I didn't say that. I was uh...Of course you're normal. Why wouldn't you be?" He nervously laughs, like he's hiding something.

"Whatever." I say, decidng that the stew isn't poisoned, and gobble it down. After I'm finish, I set the bowl on the ground, getting Aaron's attention. "Now take me home." I say serious and stern, making eye contact. "NO." He replies, turning away, not wanting to start this conversation all over again. "Why?!" I look for a reasonable answer. He sighs, then turns around to face me.

Then, he looks right at me, eye to eye contact, and answers. "Because I need you."
