Aaron's POV

The knife missed me by inches and I didn't flinch as I kept staring straight at Loke and the vortex, even after they left. I heard the knife hit the wooden fence behind me as soon as he vanished.

I sighed and remembered what he had said. Don't trust Percy.

I gripped my hands and grinded my teeth. And then I heard Percy call my name from inside. I loosen up and head back inside.

"What?" I shout back upstairs. I don't get an answer so I go up. Everyones in the room, protesting about something.

I listened as they continued to quarrel with Percy about something.

I tensed as I heard about what they were talking about. Percy wanted to talk to me, alone. But in the forest, outside of the city.

"I- I feel like something's calling me. But I don't know what." Percy explains.

If she feels that something is calling her, than that could mean that something might be happening, better take her then. I decide and tell everyone my thoughts and gleaming at my idea is Percy.

"Great! When do we go?" Percy says. "Now." I tell her as I start to head downstairs. I hear her footsteps follow and the others too.

"Oh man, I have a bad omen about this." I hear Noellen comment. I sigh and pass the dining table. The others follow.

"Shall we come too?" Tia asks. I shake my head. "It'll be faster with just me and Percy if harm comes our way." Everyone nods in agreement.

"Now come Percy. Wear this cloak too." I grab my black cloak from the coat hanger and drape around Percy's shoulders.

"Thanks." She lightly comments.

"Master." Ying Tao comes forward. Crap, I totally forgot about her.

"Stay here and protect them if danger lurks nearby." I command. She nods and steps back away.

"Let's go." I tell Percy and open the door at the sametime. It's sunny outside even if this city is broken and destroyed. I tell her to stay by my side and don't leave. Then I put my hands in my pockets and strode leisurely towards the gate, Percy's prim and quite the whole way.

As I lead her towards the gates, I ask "So.....What do you feel that's making you feel that we should go out here?"

"I don't know but it's calling me. It's like a faint whisper of words that I can't make out." She answers, looking beyond the forest. I nod and don't ask anymore.

Soon, I let her lead towards the sound of allureness if there is one. Which I don't doubt her but it's hard to say whether she heard it or not and whether it was just the wind playing a trick on her.

We're off the road sooner than later and in a grove of trees, a stump appears standing by itself. But I see that whatever is on the stump, is shrouded with a protection barrier, mist.

The mist dissolved as Percy got nearer and two girls, fox twins, appeared with that damn green boggart I hadn't seen since chapter 3.

"Greggard!" Percy exclaims, she's running towards him. Well, it seems she cared enough to remember his name. The two foxes lightly float-jump when Percy approaches them, not in alarm or caution.

"We have been waiting for you, Your Majesty." Both of the girls gleamed as Percy just got more and more confused. "Majesty?" Percy asked.

"Or would you rather be called Mrs. Thamuz?" The pink fox said. "I don't understand. My name is Percy Falestal."
