Logan's P.O.V:

That night, I went to bed tuckered out from a training session. It had been an average day at the mansion... Well, about as normal as it gets in a school for mutants.

None of us had expected what was going to happen the next day. There was no ominous feeling that something bad would happen like most people describe while reminiscing on their tragedy. I guess you could call it the calm before the storm.

Storm... She has always been one of the strongest members of our team. Back then, she was an enigma. No one other than a select few really knew her. She seemed content in her solitude and never seemed to confide in anyone.

Looking back, I wish I had been there for her. So much pain could have been avoided.

Thunder. I woke up to the sound of thunder. I got out of my bed and could tell, from the thunder's sound, that this was no ordinary thunderstorm. Most of the mansion's residents were probably still sound asleep, but because of my sensitive hearing, each clap of thunder was like crash symbols colliding near my ear.

"Storm.." I grumbled as I got out of my bed to investigate. "Why practice so early?" She had always been diligent in her training, but she'd never done it at such an awful hour of the day.

After getting dressed I stomped angrily into the kitchen expecting her to be cooking something attempting to look innocent. She tended to do that when she did something wrong. Unlike most people who just apologize with words, she would apologize with her actions. Each time she would do something that angered someone else, she would try her best to make it up to them. Storm never had to actually say she was sorry, because her actions would always convey a silent, but definitely effective, apology.

Much to my suprise, the kitchen was empty save for a few students goofing off before classes started. "Hey kids, have you seen Ro'?" I asked.

One student nodded, "Professor Munroe went outside for a walk a few minutes ago."

Without a second glance I went outside to look for her. I sniffed the air to see if I could catch her scent. A vanilla and rain-water scent was going north towards the woods. 'That must be Ro's perfume' I thought as I followed the scent. The smell was intoxicating

A few minutes later I caught another scent, a scent I remembered smelling a long time ago. "Wilson." I growled as I sprinted toward Ro's scent realizing that this was no practice session. The closer I got the windier it became. 'Hope Ro's giving him a hard time' I thought as the scent became stronger.

Finally, I made it to the clearing. Ro was shooting lightning at Wade but he was dodging it with ease. He would be impossible to beat considering his regenerative abilities are just as good as mine. Even though Ro's one of our strongest mutants, she's no used to fighting a mutant with this big of a healing factor. If she hit him with lightning, It would only slow him down for a few seconds.

"What are you doing here, bub?"

Wade looked up at me, "Hey Logan, been awhile since I've seen you." Wade and I were both involved in the weapon x program that genetically modified us into perfect weapons. We had worked side by side for years until I left the program.

I let my claws out, "Not long enough."

Wade pointed his gun at Ro, "Take one more step and I'll shoot." Ro shot a lightning bolt at him but he dodged while keeping his gun aimed at her. Because of Ro's lightning, he wasn't focused on me so I started to charge at him. As if sensing my movement, Wade turned and fired his gun at me. I felt it hit my shoulder, but kept running.

Almost instantly, I started feeling lethargic. I realized the gun he was holding wasn't a normal gun, but a tranquilizer. My fast run soon turned into a walk. As if on there own accord, my legs gave out underneith me and all I could do was watch Ro try to fight off Wade.
