Logan's POV:

Once Jean made all the experiments fall asleep it was all to easy to find the containment Ro was in. The wall took about a minute to break and a few seconds for the dust to settle. What shocked me was the immaciated form sitting in the middle of the room. Her eyes were closed tight.

"Ro, is that you?"

The figure closed her eyes even tighter and answered in a familiar but hoarse voice. "Go away Mystique."

Mystique? What? That makes no sense, why would Mystique be here? "Mystique?"

The room smelled strongly of blood so for a moment I covered my nose. She sat unmoving so I looked around trying to locate where she was bleeding. Then I saw the sleeves. They were a deep red and looked stiff like it had been dried and then added to. I held in my claws not wanting to frighten her more than she already was.

"Ro, what's on your sleeve?" My voice was forced even to my own ears. I knew what it was but I just couldn't believe someone would do this to her.

She didn't move but answered in a pained voice. "You know what it is, what they've done, you helped them."

Her voice was so broken and helpless, Mystique will pay for what she's done and so will these facility members. I tried walking towards her but she backed up to a wall as quickly as she could, her frail hands lifted up in an attempt to shield herself. My heart broke at how scared she was of me.

"Ro, it's ok, I won't hurt you. We need to get you out of here."

She started shaking her head. "No, not seven, it will hurt more."

Seven? Her head was still shaking and tears were running down her face. Tears?! In all the years I've know her I've never seen her cry. The need to hold her close to me and tell her everything will be alright was very strong, but I knew it may scare her more.

Her tears were streaming down faster now. " 'I will not leave'. 'I will not leave'."

Something's wrong, it's like Ro's grip on sanity is almost completely nonexistent. What did they do to make her like this? My anger getting the best of me I kept walking towards her and pulled her sleeves up which made her gasp in pain. I instantly looked at her angelic face and it was scrunched in pain. Once that look of pain crossed her face I felt terrible for rolling up the sleeves, but since they were rolled up I can see what's hurting.  What was on her left arm shocked me, 'I will not leave' was cut deeply into her skin and was bleeding like it was just opened even though it was most likely not. I looked at her right arm to discover the same thing.

These people that took her are sick, no one with a soul would do this to Ro! I lifted her into my arms bridal style as gently as I could. She tried getting out of my arms but her attempt was pathetic compared to her usual warrior-like determination. All to soon she stopped moving, at first I believed she gave up but when I looked down at her it looked like all the energy left her body. She needs a doctor as soon as possible.

"They will be waiting for me by now, please don't throw me at them like last time, please just set me down gently." Ro said while I was running toward the planned escape route.

When I turned the corner a bunch of men were waiting with guns aimed at us. I set down Ro as gently as possible and charged at them. They didn't have time to fire because I was in an attacking frenzy taking out all my anger over this on these accomplices.

A minute later and everyone was down. Killing them would have been my pleasure but I remembered all the times Ro would look at me with disapproval when I killed. I turned around and immediately saw Ro's big aqua blue eyes staring back at me in disbelief.
