Storm's POV:

I didn't realize where Logan had taken me until he set me down on a leather couch. It only took me a few seconds to realize this is Logan's room because of the unmade bed and random exercise gear littering the floor.

Logan sat down on the floor in front of me. He looked so tortured just sitting there starring at the floor. I was about to speak up when Logan spoke up.

"I'm sorry for leavin' Ro, I just had ta find out what they did ta you." He went to the facility?! "Ro, please stop cryin', I can't take this."

I wiped the stray tears of my cheeks, "you went back to that torture chamber because you were worried about me?" Logan's confession about where he'd been came as a shock. Why would he do all this for me?

He nodded, "you had a right ta know what happened."

A pit in my stomach formed. He knows what they did to me. Now, I won't have to assume the worst. Still, the information he's about to give me could be even worse than what I've imagined. "I don't know if I want to know... Is it bad?"

Logan sighed and wouldn't look me in the eye, "I want to tell you it's not a big deal, but that's not the case... It is bad Ro, and I'm so sorry I didn't save you in time to prevent what happened."

The pit in my stomach grew as Logan continued explaining. "They operated on you the same way they operated on me years ago. Ever since you left that operation room, you haven't aged. Your body's frozen in time and there's no way to reverse it." Logan said as he grabbed my hand. "I'm sorry I didn't sugar coat it Ro, but you're so strong and I know out of anybody that  this could have happened to, you're the only one that can bear it."

I slipped off the couch and wrapped my arms around Logan, "what am I going to do now? Why did they do this to me? I don't understand!"

A flash of lightning sounded from outside and illuminated the room. I knew the storm was my fault but I don't care. This rage I feel can't just go away.

"Follow me, I have an Idea," Logan said as he stood up from where he was sitting and climbed through the broken window in his room.

By the time I stood up and made it thought the window, Logan was completely soaked. His usually wild hair was stuck to his face. From the way Logan is smiling, I don't think he's noticed. I flew next to him and he held his hand out to me.

Once I landed, our hands intertwined. His hands were huge and consumed my tiny hands almost instantly. "So... What's your idea Logan?"

Logan didn't say anything and started walking toward the woods. I gripped his had tighter remembering my last walk in the woods resulted in me being taken away. Logan looked back at me but didn't stop walking.

Logan guided me through the woods effortlessly. It was as if he was aware of every branch in the trail. "I've never been to this part of the woods before. Do you come here often?" I asked.

"When I first came here, I was alone and scarred from what happened when I was part of the Weapon X's team. The woods was one of the only places I knew. It made me feel at home even though I had no idea how long I was going to stay here. I usually come through this path once or twice a week."

To most people, a confession like that wouldn't be a big deal, but Logan never opens up about his past. When Logan first came, he was a complete mystery. He would only appear at meals and training sessions. The training sessions didn't last long because he quickly mastered any attack we threw at him. Since then, he teaches our students attack methods in the Danger Room.

After half an hour of walking, we were stopped in our tracks by a wall of thorn bushes. Logan put his free hand on the bush and started pulling it out of the way. His hand started bleeding so I pulled him back. It was then that I noticed the wall of bushes was littered with blood stains.
