Logan's POV:

Xavier ran a hand through his nonexistent hair "this peculiar evidence is hiding something grim. Did the anesthesia put her to sleep Dr. McCoy?"

Anesthesia? I turned around to see Ro sleeping peacefully in the white hospital bed.

"So that's what you were doin' when you were messing with her IV" I said as I sat down in a plastic chair by the bed. Hank nodded while he munched on his meatloaf. "How long are you going to keep her asleep?"

Hank shrugged "it depends on how long it takes for her ribs to heal. I want to give her cosmetic surgery so she won't have to see the marks on her arms everyday." I instantly tried to look at her arms but the blanket was covering them.

Xavier was about to leave when he gestured for me to come beside him, so I walked over to where he was. He looked at Ro "Logan, I know you are Storm's close friend, but we need to keep her by herself  while I examine her."

My stomach twisted and I felt like the ground beneath me was crumbling. "No, there's gotta be another way to find out, usin' mind possesion's not the answer." I stepped between Xavier and Ro as if I could protect her brain from him. Moments like this remind me how powerless I am against Xavier.

Xavier looked at me with an anguished facial expression that rivaled mine "don't you think I haven't tried thinking of something else we can do? I hate doing this to anyone especially a close friend but she's the only clue to what weapon X is planning, if it was not essential to our survival I woulden't be doing it."

I could feel my claws coming out "I don't care I'm not gonna let you do that to her." Xavier did not reply but closed his eyes. At first it looked like he was trying to calm himself down but then I realized what he really was doing. My claws were fully out and I was about to cut him just enough where he'd have to stop what he was doing but Hank grabbed me and threw me out of the examination room. Before I realized what I was doing, I was back at the weak point in the wall and started cutting through it.

A few minutes later, I had made a hole in the wall large enough for me to crawl through so I got on my knees and crawled into the examination room.

Once I got in there the room was empty. The bed and Iv equipment were gone, and so was Ro. "They moved her while I was breaking the wall down" I grumbled as I made my way to the danger room so I could let out some steam.

A few minutes after walking through the institutes corridors I was in front of the steel entrance to the danger room. The red light was shining which meant someone was practicing but at this point I didn't care. I ripped the locked door open and ran in. Bobby was shooting ice at a simulation of Sabertooth so I ran towards it and stabbed it in the chest. Because it was a beginners simulation Sabertooth did not block my attack and as a result fell to the ground "dead."

Bobby glared at me "I could've gotten it Mr. Logan" he said in a mean tone as he adjusted with his blue and yellow uniform.

I've never liked Bobby but before I yelled at him I recalled a memory of Ro laughing and playing with the kids came to mind so instead of yelling I walked past and said "I know you could've kiddo." Bobby caught up behind me as I ran to the control room.

"Hey, what's your problem man?" Bobby said as he caught up to my fast stride. I didn't respond because if I did would most likely take my anger out on him.

The control room door was locked so I "unlocked" it by ripping the handle out with my claws. The door gave way to reveal Scott  sitting by the simulator's computer. He had a very annoyed look on his face which made me smile since I knew I was probably the reason why he was annoyed.
