Storm's POV:

"Logan, the test came out negative she's not pregnant... Logan? Come in Logan," Xavier said while pressing on his communicator.

"What's wrong? Did he answer?" I asked eagerly. From how angry Logan sounded when he left, it's crucial to tell him so he won't do something crazy.

Xavier shook his head "no, he won't answer."

Hank put his hand on Xavier's shoulder, "we need to go stop him. I'll run to the garage and try to catch him before he leaves."

"I'll look in the Danger Room, he usually goes in there when he gets mad," I said while making my way to the door.

"No. It's too late, hes already left. I'm trying to communicate to him through a mind link but something seems to be blocking the connection," Xavier said.

My stomach started growling so I got up off the bed, said bye to Hank and Xavier, and started making my way to the kitchen.

I was halfway there when I passed the entrance to the garage. Maybe Logan's still here. If Xavier couldn't connect with his mind, then how would he have known if he left?

Even though the possibility of Logan still being here was slim, I opened the garage door and walked inside.

No one was in the garage which confirmed Xavier's statement.  I was about to go back inside when something caught my eye. Logan's motorcycle was propped up right beside the exit and was still running. This machine is literally Logan's baby, so why would he leave it running?

I remember the day he bought the motorcycle. Logan had an almost child-like giddiness when he rode it in the institute. He would never just leave it running in the garage. I turned off the bike and left the keys on the seat so when he came back and wanted to go for a ride, he wouldn't be out of gas.

I pulled my white hair into a ponytail and was walking back inside when I accidentally stepped on something. The crunch it made stopped me in my tracks. My stomach growled again so I quickly examined the object I stepped on so I could go to the kitchen.

It was a crushed communicator. None of us were allowed to leave the mansion without our communicators. The communicators not only helped us communicate, they also doubled as a tracking device that can show the wearer's location on the mansion's system computer.

The only time I didn't wear my communicator, I ended up getting kidnapped.  Not being able to communicate with the rest of the team when I was in trouble has helped me keep track of and always remember to wear it.

If Logan broke his communicator, he must not want to be found. Everyone will worry when they hear that he ran off. Whenever Logan gets mad, he runs off and "fixes" the source of his anger. That usually ends with something broken beyond repair or a person stuck in the intensive care unit at the hospital.

I picked up the communicator and put it in my pocket so I could tell Professor Xavier about it after I ate.

The kitchen was empty because everyone was getting ready for bed. One bowl of cereal later, I was  washing the dishes when I heard footsteps from behind me.

"O-Ororo? I that really you?"

"Kitty!" I exclaimed while throwing my arms around her. "I've missed you so much!"

Just seeing her hopeful, hazel eyes again made me feel like things would finally return to normal. Ever since Kitty joined the X Men, I've treated her like a daughter. Her constant optimism always amused me because of my natural realism view.

Kitty broke away from our hug and let out a choked up laugh, "I've missed you too. When I heard what happened I didn't know what to think. When they brought you back and said you wern't breathing-" Her sentence was interrupted midway through because she started sobbing.
