Logan's POV:

No word can describe the anger I felt as I stormed out of the institute and rode off on my motorcycle. My communicator started buzzing and I knew they were going to say Ro's pregnant, so I pulled it out of my ear, threw it to the ground, revved up my engine, and ran over it with my motorcycle.

Some might say I'm overreacting but I don't care, Weapon X ruined my life once I'm not lettin them do that to Ro. I've outlived countless friends and have to watch everyone around me age while I can't ever age again.

I was about to leave the garage when I realized it would take WAY to long if I just drove there.

So, that was why I stole the Blackbird and flew to the facility.

The trip only took a few hours because there was not near as much wind turbulence as it was on our trip last time.

My anger had slightly subsided but I knew that no matter how calm I became, I still needed to go through with the plan. Ro shouldn't have been treated the way she was, so I'm just going to give these bubs what they deserve.

After safely landing and hiding the Blackbird in the woods nearby, I walked to the clearing that was around the facility. Almost instantly a bullet flew past me barley missing my shoulder. I looked around and noticed a guard tower that had not been there when we had rescued Ro.

Alarms started going off so I made a run for the underground entrance that was in the middle of the clearing.  A bullet hit me, but it only slowed me down for a minute because of how fast I heal.

Because of my sensitive hearing, every time the alarms sounded I felt a sharp pain. The closer I got to the entrance, the louder the alarms became.

Finally, I made it to the entrance and cut through the thick, metal door.

Once the door gave in I jumped down into the hallway. No one was in the hallway, which was very strange because anyone could have heard that loud alarm goin' off.

From the way the area smelled, people had been standing here recently. Very recently. There were at least ten people standing here a minute ago.

If I wasn't so mad I probably would have laughed at there ignorant attempts to outsmart me. They were the scientists that made me like this, so you'd think they would stop underestimating me.

I kept walking through the hallway until I got to an area where it split off into two different directions.

The scent of people was recent in both directions, but the path to the right was much stronger which meant most of the soldiers went that way. The left side had a very weak smell which probably was because only a few people went that way so, it's most likely the captain or higher ranked official went that way.

I took the path to the left and started running toward the light at the end of the hallway. My claws came out and my adrenaline was kicking in.

Finally, I reached the lighted area. It was a lot brighter than I thought it was and my eyes took a few seconds to adjust.

"Hello Logan."

When I could see again, I turned toward the direction the greeting came from. There were two chairs set next to a fire place. A man was sitting in one of the chairs and was looking at me with an amused smirk.

"What are you lookin' at Bub?" I said while glaring at the man.

What happened next completely threw me off guard. He started laughing!

"My father had told me stories, but I never actually believed he was telling the truth about you. You've more than proved what he used to say about his most successful experiment," the man said.
