Ally's POV
I could feel my eyes begin to water. Why was he all over her? He never seemed to notice I was there either, so I just turned around and darted. I went pretty far away from the party, where I collapsed to the sand. I just sat there and cried.
"Ally?" I heard a soft voice ask. I turned to see who it was. It was Nash.
"What?" I asked.
He sat down next to me.
"I'm sorry. I don't know why he's doing that. Riley and the other girls are going to talk to him. If I did I probably would kill him. " He said. I smiled slightly.
"It's okay, I knew he didn't like me anyway, so I shouldn't even be this sad." I said and wiped my tears.
"He's a boy and does stupid shit sometimes." He said. I just nodded and hugged him.
"Thank you Nash." I said.
"You're welcome, but I think we should go back to the party and show him that you don't care. Gotta show him who's boss." He said. I nodded and smiled. He helped me up and we went back.
There was only about 5 minutes left for the party, and I was thankful. I haven't seen Hayes since the incident and I'm kinda glad. I've been hanging out with Nash pretty much the whole time. I haven't seen Riley, Emily, or Taylor in awhile in fact. All I know is that Nash is the only one here for me right now. We were both dancing in a crazy way and I was having fun.
"Come on, this is the last song." Nash yelled over the music. I nodded and we made our way out of the crowed.
I spotted Julie, Jackie, Scott and Ben.
"Well it's been real, but my moms going to be here soon." I said.
"Aw well it was nice seeing you again! Next time you go to a session at the rink let Emily know so we can come say hi!" Jackie said. I gave them all hugs.
I turned around to talk to Nash, and instead I saw Grace standing a few feet away from me, but her back was to me. I was about to go over to her when I felt someone grab my wrist. It was Ben, and Nash was right next to him.
"Ally, don't." Ben said.
"She's not worth it." Nash said softly. I took a deep breath and nodded slowly. Ben gave me a quick hug before Nash led me up to the parking lot. He had his hand on my shoulder once we got up the steps. I saw Emily walking towards me.
"Hey! Thank you for inviting us, I had a good time." I smiled. She smiled lightly and hugged me. I thought i heard her say something but I couldn't hear her.
"Thank you for coming, text me!" She smiled and walked away. Nash and I kept walking until I saw Taylor and Riley.
"Hey, when's mom getting here?" I asked. They looked at me and smiled.
"She should be here soon, we are taking Taylor home by the way." Riley said. I said okay and found a bench close to sit on to wait.
They all were probably thinking I couldn't hear them but they were whispering about me.
"Where's Hayes?" I asked them. They all shot their heads towards me.
"He's gonna meet us over here soon." Taylor said. I nodded and waited. I shouldn't over react. It's not like we were dating anyway.
Soon enough, Hayes came over and sat directly next to me on the bench. We both sat in silence while Nash, Riley and Taylor stared at us.
"Ally?" He asked me. Should I answer him? Ugh, I guess I should.
"Yeah?" I said, without looking at him.
"Look at me." He said softly. I slowly turned my head. He looked so out of it. What?
"What?" I asked.
"Are you okay?" I mentally rolled my eyes. Why would I if the guy I like a lot was dancing with a girl I absolutely hate.
"Why wouldn't I be okay?" I asked him. He shrugged.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Well I was at the beginning of the night, now I'm not."
"Why" I said monotone.
"I did something, and I hate myself for it." He said softly.
"What did you do Hayes." I said. I turned away from him now
"Well, I saw this girl talking to this guy, and it made me really mad. I don't know why, but because of it, I went over to the girl that she hates and danced with her to make her jealous... I think she saw and now she doesn't want to talk to me, I'm kinda forcing her to."
"Well did you realize that that guy used to be her best friend? And that she doesn't think that old guy friend is attractive in any way, shape or form?" I asked. He dropped his head.
"I knew that afterward. I'm sorry." He said.
"If it makes you feel better, i think she's gross and in no way attractive." He told me.
"I know, why do you think I hate her?" I laughed and he smiled. We sat in silence for a little bit.
"So, why did you try and make me jealous?" I asked quietly.
"What?" He asked.
"Why did you want me to be jealous?" I asked a little louder.
"Well, uh, because, I don't know." He sighed.
"You do know, you just aren't telling me." I said. He sighed again and put his fingers through his hair.
"It's a stupid reason." He said.
"So I wanna know! Please tell me!" I asked.
"No Ally-"
"Hayes" I put my hand on his.
"Please"
"Sorry to interrupt but mom's here." Riley said. I looked at him and sighed. Really Riley??? I got up and walked to the car.
