Meeting Hayes

Chapter 8

Ally's POV

I wake up in the morning and look at the time. It's 9:30!?? I have to leave for practice in a half an hour! I quickly change into some black leggings and a grey sweatshirt. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth. I put my hair in a pony tail and got changed. When I came out I looked at my phone. I got a text from Hayes.

From: Hayes😍😍💗

Hey good morning, Skylnn and I will be over in 10 minutes

I smiled and replied with an okay. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a muffin. When I was done I brushed my teeth again, and by the time I came out, Hayes and Skylnn knocked on the door. I allowed them in and gave them both hugs.

"Riley! You ready?" I asked her. She came out and nodded. Did I mention that my mom was Riley and I's coach? Well yeah haha. We all got in the car. Riley was in front with my mom, then Skylnn sat in the middle, and Hayes and I sat in the back. We talked the whole way there. My mom would talk to them too, asking them how they've been and stuff.

We got to the rink and we walked in. I went into the locker room and grabbed my skates. I then went to get Hayes and Skylnn a pair too. I gave them there skates and quickly put on mine. I don't know if you know this but I don't ice skate. I roller skate, yes I know it's an old sport(and slowly dying) but my mom got my sister and I into it. I do Figures, dance, and loops. (A/N if you know what I'm talking about I applaud you oh and comment because I really want to know😊👏🏻👏🏻)

First was figures. I basically trace the figure circles. When I was done, I changed into my loop skates. (Hayes and Skylnn aren't allowed to skate yet because it's private lessons) I looked over and saw Hayes watching me. He smiled and walked over to where the loops were..

"Ally, your really good! I wish I was as good as you, but I'm not haha." he said. I laughed and thanked him and went to finish my practice.

I finally finished and changed for dance. Figures is my favorite, but dance is close second. This is when Hayes and Skylnn can come out to practice but they just have to look out for us. I look over to see Hayes struggling. I giggle and skate over to him. I outstretch my hand and he gladly takes it. We walk out onto the floor and he holds my hand and the wall. He's not that bad.

After about 20 minutes he gets the hang of it and skates away from the wall. We are still holding hands. Let me tell you, I have had butterflies in my stomach, but totally low key..

After about 2 hours, I get him to be able skate good enough with out holding onto me. By then, the session is over and we take our skates off.

"Thanks for helping me, I really appreciate it." he tells me.

"Anytime, we have to do this again." I say and smile. I put our skates away and we get into the car.

"So how long exactly have you been skating?" Hayes questions.

"Since I could walk basically. My mom would always bring me to the rink and finally one day I got bored of sitting there and grabbed a pair of skates and started skating." I said.

"Well your amazing, I assume you get your talent from your mother?" He asks me. I smile

"Yes, yes she does Hayes, even though she doesn't like to listen to me half the time." my mom says and we all laugh and we keep talking. We finally arrive back at my house.

"Do you and Skylnn want to hang out here?" I ask him. He says sure and we all go into the living room.

"Do you want to play the wii?" I ask them. they nod and I put in Mario cart.

"Just saying, I'm going to kick your butt Hayes." I told him. He laughs.

"Okay Ally, whatever you say."

"Wanna bet?" I asked him. I nods.

"Okay the loser has to do whatever the winner wants for a day." I tell him.

"Oh your on."

We are going to play 3 rounds. And whoever wins the most is obviously the winner. We just finished playing two, I won one and he won one. The final one. we started the race. He was in the lead for two of the laps. I was trailing behind him. We were so close to the finish line, then I got a red shell and hit Hayes with it. I sped by him and passed the finish line.

"Hahaha yes! I won! I beat Hayes Grier in Mario cart!" I said. He pouted

"Oh, it's wittle Poobear mad?" I said.

"I don't like not winning. And you know I don't like being called that." He pouted. I laughed and got up from the couch and stood in front of him

"How can make you not mad at me?" I asked. He smirked.

"Well, I do like ice cream.." he trails. I nodded, laughed, and went into the freezer. I grabbed the ice cream and two spoons. I also grab an ice cream sandwich for Skylnn. I walked back over to Hayes and his eyes lit up. I first gave skylnn her ice cream. Then I sat down next to him and gave him a spoon. I turned on the t.v and we started watching spongebob.

"This show is life." I told him.

"Yes, yes it is." he laughed.

"I love this one!" Skylnn says. she jumps on my lap and we all watch spongebob.

After many episodes of spongebob, and the half a gallon of ice cream was gone, Hayes's mom called and told Hayes him and Skylnn had to come home and eat dinner, because someone was there to see them.

"Hey mom, can Ally come over and have dinner too?" He asked. She said sure.

I went into my room and got freshened up before I walked out of my room.

"Ready?" Hayes asked. I nodded. We walked into his house.

"Mom! I'm home!" Hayes yelled.

"I'm in the kitchen!" She yelled back. we walked into the kitchen and I stood there in shock.
