Meeting Hayes

Chapter 5

Ally's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I turned it off and looked at my phone. 3 new messages? Oh all from Hayes haha. I read them and this is what they said.

From: Hayes😍😍💗

Good morning!
ALLY WAKE UP YOU GOT TO GET READY FOR SCHOOL
Okay or don't answer that's cool too, Fine I'll just see you at school

I quickly replied with an okay and got ready for school. I left my house and I was on my way to school.

I ran into school and went to my locker to get my books. I made it into homeroom with 5 minutes to spare.

"Woah, I didn't think you would make it." hayes laughed. I shrugged. He had his jersey on so I'm assuming he has a game today.

"Hayes I never asked you this but how did you end up on the team?" I asked.

"Well they asked me if I played anything I told them yeah football I had a try out and they loved me. And bam, I was on the team." He laughed. I laughed too.

The rest of the day was pretty boring. Hayes kept making me laugh so I guess it was fine then.

(Random time skip- The next week.)

Hayes and I are still really good friends. We always talk, I sometimes go over to his house. The weird thing is that he has never came over to mine. I really don't know why. Anyway, I think it's safe to say that he has made my life way better. Now, in the past week, nothing really happened that was special. but I'm getting excited because homecoming is coming up in two weeks! I doubt someone will ask me, but some people say Hayes might. I wish! But he only sees me as a friend. I mean, why would he like someone like me?

Right now it's Friday and I'm super happy because the weekend is coming up! I'm going dress shopping with Hayes today. I asked him if he could come with me so I could have an opinion on my dress. He actually happily agreed. I just got home from school and now I'm getting ready to leave.

I put on a pair of black leggings with my Grey crew neck. I put in my black converse. By the time I was done I heard a knock at my door. I rushed to the door to see Hayes standing there. I smiled and said bye to my family and got in the car. Did I mention his mom was dropping us off? Well yeah, she is. We were almost there when his mom started talking.

"Okay so call when you need a pick up or you need anything okay? Skylnn and I will be roaming the mall also. And Hayes, do not leave Ally by herself, got it?" His mom said.

"Yeah mom I got it, see you later."

"Thanks!" I said to her and she smiled.

We started walking around and I decided to go into pink to get bras and stuff. I told Hayes and he said okay. He walked into zumiez which was right next door. I found stuff I liked and paid and walked out to see Hayes just walking out of zumiez with a bag in his hand.

"So where do you want to look for a dress?" He questioned. I had found one at Macy's for a dance I had last year and told him. He nodded and we walked in.

I found a few dresses I liked and was about to walk in the dressing room before Hayes stopped me.

"Hey Ally, can you try this dress on too? I think you would look great in it." he said and blushed lightly. I nodded, smiled and took it and went in.
