Meeting Hayes

Chapter 17

Hayes POV

Once we left the girls I looked at Nash.

"What are you planing on getting Riley?"

"Uh, I don't yet. What are you getting Ally?" He asked.

"Well I wanted to go back to that jewelry store because she really liked these earrings, then I was thinking of going to pink and getting her perfume because she loves this one kind and I do too. Then I want to get her a Vera Bradley bag because she likes that too." I said.

"Woah bro have you been planning this for a while?" He asked and chuckled. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well I'll get Riley a necklace, sweatpants and lotion or something from pink."

"That sounds good! So let's get going." I said.

Once we finished we waited at the spot we told the girls we would meet them at. I hid Ally's gift in my other bags. As I was looking at my phone a group of girls came running towards Nash and I.

"Crap." he mumbled.

"Omg your Nash and Hayes Grier! Can we take pictures with you?" This girl with long blonde hair said. She was wearing short shorts and a crop top. How do parents let their kids go out wearing that?

"Sure." Nash said with a smile on his face. I smiled too, but I could tell he really didn't want to do this. Who am I kidding I don't either. I just want to get back to Ally.They asked us a few questions but this one caught my attention.

"Hayes are you single?" This red haired girl asked. She was pretty much wearing the same thing the other girl was. They all were.

"No." I said, well I am obviously, but I don't want them to know that.

"I want to see a picture of her!" The girl said. I showed her one of Ally and I from the other day when we went ice skating. I hope she doesn't mind.

"Oh, no offense but you can do way better, like me!" She said and smirked. I stood there shocked.

"Yeah Hayes, you need to dump her and date my friend instead!" The blonde said.

"Now why would I do that?" I asked.

"It would be a huge upgrade." the red head said.

"Well, I don't plan on breaking up with her any time soon. How can you guys be called my fans if you're just gonna hate on my girlfriend. And no offense to you, but it would be a downgrade. I have the best girlfriend a guy could ask for. So we are done here, you guys can leave." I said. What? I gotta make it sound believable.

They stood there in shock.

"You heard him, leave before we call security." Nash spoke through gritted teeth.

"Hayes..." I heard behind me. I knew exactly who it was.

"Ally.." I said. You could tell she was holding back tears.

"Ew so this is the girl you're dating?" The blonde said.

"Told you that you could do better." the red head spoke. Her friends nodded in agreement. Ally just dropped her bags.

"Ally don't listen to them, I can explain." I said. She slowly came up to me, tears dropping down her face slowly.

"You girls need to leave, its obvious that you are attention whores. The next time I hear you all talking bad about my sister I swear I will make sure you never speak to these boys or any of the others ever. Understand? Now leave before I start screaming." Riley said, venom coming off of every word she said.
