Meeting Hayes

Chapter 6

(Next Thursday)

Ally's POV

Today is the big homecoming football game. We are playing one of the best teams in our league. It was the end of the day of school, and I was getting dropped off  to Hayes's house after school. Hayes and I were at our lockers talking when Grace came over in her cheer uniform. Hayes got to wear his jersey today too.

"Hey Hayes, hey Ally." She said and smiled

"Hey Grace." I said plainly.

"Hey Grace!" Hayes said a little too happily. Of course he would like her.

"So, I need to ask you something Hayes." She said while twirling her hair

"Okay?" He said.

"So you know how every cheerleader needs a football players jersey to wear? Well I was wondering if I could wear yours." She said while looking at me.

"I would, but I already asked someone to wear mine." He said. My heart dropped.

"Oh, okay. well anyway, I'll see you there." She smiled "sadly" and walked away.

I grabbed the rest of my books and started walking down the hallway.

"Ally wait!" Hayes called. I just kept walking.

"What's the rush?" He asked. I just shook my head.

"What wrong? I can tell something bugging you." He said.

"Nothing, I'm fine everything it's fine." I said.

"You know you can trust me, right?" He asked.  I looked at him and nodded. I gave him a small smile and kept walking.

"Are you ready for the big game?" His mom asked as soon as we got into the car.

"Yeah, little nervous but I'll be fine" he said.

"Ally, we can pick up you and your sister before the game and bring you home if you'd like. The game starts at 5:30 and he needs to be there by 4:45 so 4:15 Is when we will pick you up." She told me.

"Yeah that would be great thank you." I said and smiled.

We got to my house. I said goodbye to them and walked in.

"Hey I'm home!" I yelled through the house.

"In here Ally!" I heard Riley said from her room.

"Elizabeth is gonna pick us up at 4:15 to go, so make sure your ready." I told her. We had about an hour and a half to get ready.

I put my bag in my room and went into the bathroom. I got into the shower and washed my hair and body. When I got out I wrapped myself in a towel and went to my room. I went to my closet and tried to find something to wear. I ended up deciding on my black leggings, grey loose sweater, and my dark grey bear paws. Once I was done getting dressed, I went to the bathroom to blow dry my hair. I decided to curl my hair a tiny bit. And also since it was going to be a little cold I wore a cream colored beanie. I put on some foundation, mascara and baby lips. I looked at myself in the mirror and nodded.
