Meeting Hayes

Chapter 2

Ally's POV

I started to get nervous. What if the person doesn't like me or I embarrass myself. I stop in front of the office and take a deep breath. I walk in and see the back of his head that I didn't recognize at first. Then he turned around. I immediately saw his big blue eyes.

"Ally, this is Hayes. You will be showing him to all his classes and help him and everything, got it?" I simply nodded my head and walked over to him.

I obviously know who he is, I'm just really surprised .

"Hi, I'm Hayes, you're the girl I ran into this morning! I'm sorry about that."  He said. Oh that's who I ran into? Ugh way to make a first good impression.

"Yeah I am, I'm sorry too, I was running late and wasn't looking where I was going. I'm really sorry." I said.

"Hey it's okay." He said and flashed me one of his smiles. I smiled back and opened the door.

"Let's go?" I said. He nodded and followed behind me.

"What's your locker number?" I asked.

"Uh, 629 and 630, do you know where they are?" He said.

"They are right next to mine!"

"Oh okay cool"

He put everything into the lockers and I showed him around.

" So, Ally, how long have you lived here?" hayes asked.

I said " all my life"

He then asked me "Do you know who I am?" He asked

I nodded slowly and he continued " I'm surprised you're not freaking out."

I just shrugged.

"Wait, where do I know you from?." he said. I just stared at him.

"Um, I don't know." I said, he can't know who I am.

"I know you from somewhere I just can't think of it right now, it's on the tip of my tongue.... give me time and I'll remember." he said and gave me a big smile. It made my heart melt a little. wait what am I talking about! I just met him!

"Ally?" He said. I shook my head.

"I'm sorry what? I zoned out I'm really sorry." I said. wow, way to sound stupid.

We continued to walk up to homeroom and I started talking.

" Okay so homeroom and your first period class are the same so you don't have to go anywhere which is good. We have Religion first. I love his class cause we normally don't do much." he said okay and asked where he should sit. I told him in front of me. We walked in and my teacher introduced him. Not many people at my school actually knew who he was which was great for me.

I sat in front of Anna, who sits in front of Kara. they had their eyes wide open and looked at me and gave me the 'holy crap you were right' look. I smiled and turned to Hayes. "Hayes, these are my friends Kara and Anna" he smiled at them and waved, them returning it, still with shocked faces. he laughed and looked at me.

"Why are they doing that." he asked.

"Well yesterday we were taking and I- never mind. It was stupid sorry."

"No it's fine." he said and smiled and me, then turned around.

After class was over, we went to the next one, Spanish. As we were walking I felt like someone was looking at me. Like you know that feeling you get? Yeah I had that. I looked and saw Hayes looking at me.

"What?" I questioned. He smiled and answered.

"Nothing, Nothing at all." he said. I just smiled and nodded while we continued to walk to Spanish.

The teacher introduced him, and that pretty much how the next classes went. Global was next, then English. We talked all the time and then, finally, the bell rang, and it was time for lunch.

"Can I introduce you to more people during lunch? I feel like you would like them." He smiled and nodded as we walked down.

"Hey guys, I want you to meet Hayes, he will be sitting with us for a while at lunch. Hayes, this is Kara and Anna,whom you already met, Adam and Jake,who are my other best friends, and my sister Riley and her friend Katie." he smiled and waved and said hello and we sat down.

The order was me and Hayes on one side of the table, Adam and Jake, Riley and Katie, then Kara and Anna. We all talked and had fun. I think Hayes is going to become really close with Adam and Jake, they talked a lot. A few people came up and said hello and welcome. After lunch was Algebra. I'm really good at it, but her class is so slow!

We walked in and the same thing happened and we sat down. This one girl in my class, Grace, kept looking at him. She was one of my friends, and she told me she didn't like him. I will ask her later about it. I kinda gave her that look that said, stop staring, and she almost instantly looked away. After math was dance for me, but for him it was gym.

"Okay so you go right in here and then after class, you could meet me back at the end of the hallway down there and I will be waiting, okay?" He nodded and went into gym, I walked to dance. I walked in with a huge smile on my face. I saw Grace and decided to talk to her now.

"Hey" I said.

"Hey, who's the new guy, he's hot and looks familiar." she said. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"That's Hayes Grier." I said.

"Oh, well he's hot." she said.

"I thought you didn't like him?" I asked.

"Yeah, but he's famous."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"Well I could become famous. I think I'm going to talk to him." she said.

I scoffed "No your not."

"Why not?" She said and smirked.

"Because you don't go after someone because of their fame. Don't be that person because then everyone will eventually dislike you." I said. I walked away. She yelled back.

"Your just jealous because he will like me more!" she said. I rolled my eyes and walked away.

Finally dance was over and I met up with Hayes were I told him to meet me. He was smiling, and I gave him a small smile back. I didn't want to tell him what happened. But he stopped walking and looked at me.

"What?" I said. He held his arm out and I smiled. We linked arms and skipped to bio.

After bio we went to Band. it changes ever other day, from Band to Computer Technology.

We walked into the band room and I introduced him to the band teacher. He asked him what he played and he told him the trumpet ( A/N I don't think he does but just go along with it haha) He got him a trumpet and we all sat down.

We started playing the music and during it I got that feeling again where someone was watching me. On a rest I looked around and saw it was Hayes. I smiled and he did too. When he did that I got butterflies. It was a weird, but good feeling. Why do I keep saying that? I don't like him. When we were packing up the instruments Hayes walked over to me and said

"Woah Ally your a really good Flute player. How long have you been playing?" I answered with

"Since 4th grade. My mom used to play it and so now my sister and I play it." He nodded and we walked out of the band room. As we were at our lockers Hayes came up to me and told me something I didn't think he would ask me.
