Meeting Hayes

Chapter 4

Ally's POV

"Hey Ally, can I have your number? Just incase I need help or something." Wait, did he just ask for my number? No way!

"Uh, yeah sure just give me your phone and I'll give you mine."

We swapped phones and I put my name under Ally😘💗 and gave him his phone. I looked at mine and he saved it under Hayes😍😍💗 I giggled and told him I would see him later.

I just decided gave him a hug. He seemed just as surprised as I was but he hugged back. Wow, he gives good hugs. I quickly said goodbye and left.

I went to the locker room to get changed for soccer. I met up with some people from my team and we walked out to the field. I walked over to Katie, Anna and Kara who were on the team. Practice was starting.

"Who's ready to run the mile!" My coach said. We all groaned and started running. Just a little fact about me that I hate running. I'm a defenseman so I normally don't do a ton of running, but every practice she makes us run. We had to run four laps around the football/ soccer filed. As we were doing that the football team decided to take the field and practice. They do that every time.

"Ally, since when do we have a number 7?" Katie asked.

"I don't know." I said. As we got closer he looked familiar.

"How did Hayes make it on the team?" Kara asked.

"Isn't it really hard to make it?" Anna asked.

"Well he has been playing it since he was little. He must be really good." I said as we were walking over to the benches to take a water break. The football team was walking off the field. I was looking at Hayes and he looked over at me. His helmet was now off and he waved at me. I smiled and waved back.

"Okay ladies we are going to practice for about 10 more minutes then I have to leave." My coach said. I was happy this was almost over.

After practice was over I walked to the front of the school and waited for my grandpa to pick me up.

"Bye Ally see you tomorrow!" Katie said. I said bye back and waved.

"Hey stranger." I heard someone say behind me. I turned around and it was a very sweaty Hayes.

"Hey Hayes." I said and smiled. I heard a car horn and turned around.

"That's my ride, sorry but I'll see you later." I said and smiled.

"See you Ally." He said and smiled. I got in the car and we started to go home.

As we were driving I saw that someone bought the house across the street from me. They still had a moving truck there. Well thats werid, cause Hayes just moved into town.... no, that can't be him, can it? I walked inside my house and saw my mom. She was making cookies.

"Ally, I saw that we have new neighbors, so I was thinking we could bring them over some cookies." She said.

"okay sounds good! But mom there was a new kid at school today and you wouldn't believe who it was!"

"Who?" She questioned.

"Hayes Grier!" I yelled.

"Mom he's in almost all my classes except for dance of course and he's so nice." I smiled.

"Someone has a crush on the new kid!" I heard Riley say from the living room.

"Stopp" I whined.

"Oh well that's nice sweetie, well get some homework done and a shower in before we head over. No offense but you smell." I nodded and laughed.

I took a shower and did some extra homework before we went over. I put on some black nike shorts and a blue t-shirt. I put my hair in a messy bun before leaving the house.
