I hate the word "soon" and I hate the word "wait"
But I'll still be waiting for you because my passion is too great
It hurts not being able to touch you, and it hurts seeing other couples
I end up holding back my tears, at times it's a real struggle
You tell me "soon" we'll spend time together
Very "soon" we'll kiss and cuddle
Soon isn't soon enough because my heart is about to crumble
Through all the loneliness I'm still waiting for you
Still waiting through all the fake relationships obscuring my view
Some way, some how I have to be with you in person
I hope that sooner than soon I won't have to carry this burden
